I passed through Edo state yesterday coming from Abuja and heading to Warri, I felt pity for Edo state.
The road inside Benin and GRA calls for federal government to declare state of emergency in the state and remove the Governor.
It's too embarrassing for a capital city in Nigeria to look like that in 21st century.

Edo State Governor is Assistant President on Agboro matters.

Sometimes I wonder what these governors do with all the money. Common street lights they can't even provide.

I think it's better one sleep than waste time offering such prayers, what's the work of the average Nigerian public officers from the president down to the councilors? So we need prayers for them to do the needful, Nigeria just get as e be.

The last time we experienced practical governance and infrastructure revolution in Edo State was during the tenure of Oshiomhole as governor. Any good roads you see in Benin today, 90% were constructed by Oshiomhole. Obaseki, just like Lucky Igbinedion wasted a whole 8 years. The few roads that Obaseki constructed in 8 years became worse even before he left as governor.
Now come Okpebholo, seems to be starting afresh again but he has constructed very few roads, but spread across the 3 senatorial districts, mostly in his hometown, Udomi in Irrua. Okpebholo can do far better than he is doing. As rightly said by cubana, even the so called GRA is in a mess, like a glorified village. Sad!

Most APC Governors ought to be removed and executed by firing squad; very criminal gangs parading their criminal selves as political leaders while stealing away the destinies of Nigerians who ignorantly hail and support them

I'm from Benin, edo state,born in lagos but was shocked when I visited last year seeing the states of bad roads.


Egor local government in the capital is terrible.

When it comes to bad toad give it to edo and ogun but when comparin both States capitals, Abeokuta have good roads while sone Benin roads are in bad shape, dusty and dirty,

Don't worry, Governor Okpebholo will cast out the demons that caused bad roads. In the past 3 years, all he has done is to construct one flyover in Ramat. Call students to come and do match past, and promise Tinubu 4 million votes.

Well the people voted for that and don't seem to have a problem with that so why compare to your state.

Prayers can’t fix the road the government can

He just used 1 Yr and 10 months, hiw is he suppose to have fixed edo state in just 1year and 10 months? Hate him or not for his affiliate that's his is bizness but obaseki was a messed up governor. He messed up Edo state. I voted olumide Akpata which I believed was the best but no governor can do anything within one year.

If you have been to Benin City before now, you will applaud what the Chief Priest just posted. Okpebholo is a clown that doesn't know how to serve his people, but to attack Peter Obi. Anyway, his days are numbered.
