Not just GRV. I doubt any of them know it
That said

On the Thugs on the streets of Lagos, only Dr Hamzat will allow it to continue because those thugs are among the ones that would make him the governor of Lagos state by TipaTipa by force.

On tackling waste management in Lagos, NDC's Funso Doherty said, ''There needs to be significant investment in each of those nodes of waste processing. Government needs to step up and put those resources in place.''

Come on in 100 days only education seems really possible since Lagos already has considerable amount of free tuition and exams, some books in its budget but the housing is too tall an ambition for the time frame or is it policy drafting?

He did excellently well here tho. The issue of our skill personnel leaving the country, let me give you a real life scenario.
My friend worked a bank head quarter in Lagos and he's one of their IT staff.
The pay was ridiculous so he has to start looking for US gigs.
When he got US gigs the frustration was still there no good light.
Now he's in Europe as a senior IT staff.
Government should make basic amenities available for lagosians and improve the security. Agbero everywhere, oh I forgot to tell you area boys robbed him when he was still working in that bank with meager salary and nice suit.
Lagos is not a safe place for talented people, area boys everywhere, boys that should be deported back to their parents domain or be put in the correctional centers within the state.

I'm surprised they didn't dwell on this point you raised

It's what's on my mind while going through the OP post
The APC candidate who is the sitting deputy governor expanded on it, his first statement dealt on young homeless children who may latter become touts and he ended his last question I. Like manner addressing the fact that there are many things that push young people living rough drugs, irresponsible guardians and criminality

Gbadebo is dead on arrival. . . Radarada ati randanrandan!
Gbadebo is an outsider, how could a respectable man make such a statement that he is here for governance, is that to say that identity is secondary. China Malaysia America France, Japan all these nations built their countries behind their strong moral identity.

The Yoruba believe in the principles of Omoluabi and what might seem simple is actually a sophisticated system that guides, interpersonal relationships, professionalism, civic duty and personal enlightenment.

Mr Rhodes Vivors should know that governance in SW is primarily centred on the doctrine of Omoluabi and without that his ambition is nullified

Just imagine the impudence, I am here for governance! So we should abandon our heritage and identity to concentrate on governance that will be devoted to enabling manufacturers of fake drug, food and every other thing you can think of flourish. . . I say again, , , Gbadebo is dead on arrival. . radarada ati randanrandan.

The spirit of Odua will vehemently kick against him being elected, if they like, let the whole country vote for him, his disgrace this time around will be monumental.

Dr. Hamzat is an old, reliable name in BAT's and Fashola's team/ cabinet.

Emphasis on language wouldn't have been much for Gbadebo of ADC but because he projected himself as someone who could think in English & his mum's native language except that of his dad and not that he was seeking political position in his mum's state. Belittling his dad's people has kept him in limbo.

Gbadebo had been long in projecting himself in the political space. I remember his posters then in Festac/ Amuwo areas as of 2008-2010 and since then, hasn't found his feet properly in the political arena because his strategies aren't good. He may well just join APC rather than ADC. Many who started their careers after him are already well established unlike him. If he doesn't try to get things right now because of impatience& wrong strategies, soon he will just be someone people just mock that he's campaigning yearly with no fruits.
