You see printing/photocopying, Except if you are doing it in a student area, you are just setting up yourself for hunger |

Find something else. Ai have made graphics obsolete. Printing is not a business in this century |

Ai has rendered graphics design useless. Because anyone can just put in your prompt and the ai would design whatever you want. Even canva sef has ai so you don't need any skill to design whatever you want. |

Please look into other businesses like fast moving consumer goods. Printing only works in school area |
| Re: Which of these skills is okay to earn a living? by Host78: 1:41pm On Oct 02 |
You can do both. Instead of graphic design, focus on the printing part of the design. Wedding invitations, flyers, obituaries, campaigns posters etc. Add printing and photocopying if you are in a student area or government institution area. Please do both. |

Imalwayshorny:200k per day keh. Lol... Any area like you mentioned - school/university, have mad competition. I'm talking from personal experience, as someone who once ran a Cybercafe in school environment - also the business is seasonal, when students to on vacation, business drops. But if there's more demand than available stores, you'll make some decent profit when school is in session. If OP is strategic, he can also meet up with primary and secondary schools to help with typing and printing their exam materials, this one dey help me every term exam 😅 If you're really good with graphics design, then I'd prefer that one. You don't even need to incur the cost of renting a store... Market yourself well online, get referrals from family and friends, work for remote clients as their social media designer, take print works and take to printers without you investing in print machines. |

What research have you done? It makes no sense coming to this forum with the information you provided to ask for advice . Do we know if you're in the village? ... or on the Island? Advice you already got ... open a photo copy shop near to a school. Don't you have to find out where students do photo copying?.. is there a shop already in [he area? ... is there a copying machine in the school?.. is there constant electricity?.. rent close to a school is higher .. can you afford it? .. how is security? ,We know none of this but advising you to rent a place and to set up shop... you'll make N200K per day. |

OP, take it from me, Graphic Designing will no longer be considered a skill in the next 5 years. Ai is just starting but is already doing incredible designs. Imagine Ai capacity in the next 5 years. |

Yesterday someone was telling me how artisans build houses with their little money but ironically, those who earn a decent paycheck every month cannot do the same thing. They want to build or buy the multimillion mansion their salary cannot afford. Now, go forth and do what you are blessed with. Both businesses need computers. Do what works for you and God has blessed not what you think man thinks. No one is paying your bills for you so don't take my opinion from me, listen to your head.
