The N1,900 per litre price mentioned in our earlier report referred to diesel (AGO), not petrol (PMS), as erroneously stated.Source: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2026/10/corrigendum/amp/

Okay, it's diesel that is 1900, not petrol. Petrol is only 1400. We will include that as one of the dividends of the renewed hope agenda. |

If Tinubu was a SERIOUS President, he'd LOCKDOWN Vanguard and throw the Chief Editor in JAIL. MADNESS! |

The FG should make them pay heavy fines for their lack of professionalism and intentionally circulated false news that break down the peace and orderliness of the country. |

Unfortunately, this are the kind of irresponsible journalism the FG has to combat with. While President Tinubu and his team are doing everything to ameliorate the challenges of high energy cost (a global problem by the way), our media houses are determined to ruin the effort of government by publishing outright falsehood, lies and misinformation. From Arise Tv journalist deliberately reporting the price modulation policy as return of subsidy to Vanguard's attempt to cause public unrest by lying that PMS is now N1,900, their mission is the same: set the country on fire and make the country ungovernable. Sadly for them, they have failed. |

The mistake was replacing diesel with petrol for N1,900. It did not stop diesel from being N1,900, which Nigerians still consume!! Meanwhile petrol is N1,400. The untold suffering, hardship, cost of living still very terrible!! Tinubu supporters still have the guts to talk and condemn vanguard like their lives depend on it!! Sometimes, I realise why some cities like Sodom and Gomorrah where basically wiped out. No need for negotiation |

How can a whole vanguard newspaper claimed this was an error? So a publication go into circulation without editor and chief editor looking at it? Why was this error done the very day FG announced discount on petrol? Coincidence? This is sabotage and attack against the state. |
