Tinubu’ll Take Nigeria From Reforms To Prosperity If Re-elected – First Lady by Racoon(op): 3:15am On Oct 11
First Lady Sen Oluremi Tinubu says President Bola Tinubu will move Nigeria from economic reforms to prosperity if re-elected for a second term in 2027.

Tinubu said this on Saturday in Lafia at the North-Central Mega Rally organised by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima.

The First Lady urged party members to take the campaign to communities across the region and mobilise voters for the party’s candidates. She highlighted some achievements of the Tinubu administration across various sectors, saying continuity was necessary to sustain the gains.

“President Tinubu is a man who believes in the unity, security and prosperity of our nation.“The Independence Day message of Mr President was titled ‘From Reforms to Prosperity’.

“Therefore, Mr President is saying that they are going to reform the sector, but now is the time for prosperity, and we can see our economy is stabilising.

“Foreign exchange is going down, and investors are coming back to Nigeria, our farmers too. You can see all our governors here; they are doing infrastructural development like no other time before.

“I have been in the Senate for 12 years. This is the best time I will see the government fixing roads and building a lot of infrastructure,” she said.

Tinubu also cited the administration’s food support programme, saying it was designed to provide nutritious food for children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.

“As you see now, we have just finished the food bank programme, where we are helping every child and mothers who are pregnant and also breastfeeding.

“This is to ensure that they can have more nutritious food, and also the children that are malnourished can get treatment and also get food to grow healthy,” she said. She added that students were also benefiting from the administration’s education funding initiatives.

The First Lady urged party members to communicate the administration’s policies and programmes to Nigerians in their respective states.

She described Tinubu as a leader willing to take difficult decisions, expressing confidence that his policies would strengthen the economy and improve security.

She said the administration would continue to pursue a stronger economy, safer communities and a greater Nigeria if returned to office.

The First Lady also said the APC women’s wing had united its campaign efforts to promote a common message and goal ahead of the 2027 general elections.

She said the party’s campaign would focus on its programmes and policies without resorting to hate speech or actions capable of undermining national unity.

“Therefore, vote for continuity, vote for capacity, vote for prosperity, and vote for the re-election of Mr President and all the candidates of APC from top to bottom,” she said.

The rally was hosted by Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, with governors and other political leaders from the North-Central region in attendance. (NAN)

Reforms? That has led to more abject poverty, unemployment, worsening purchasing power of the naira, double digits inflation, Exodus of investors among many ills?

Same prosperity Tinubu govt said Nigeria are already enjoying? Perhaps she is still grandstanding on the useless 50k frying akara/kulikuli or roasting corn businesses she pathetically recommended for the downtrodden masses?

Same reforms her husband evil govt have condemned the citizens to? This woman and her husband are the most wicked soul in Nigeria today

Reforms must wear human face. There is not one country practicing absolute free market, that her husband is prcatising. So reforms must ave human face.

Tinubu is working for the owners of Nigeria and not Nigerians

Reforms: "Nigeria will be like America, England when Tinubu is Done." - Okpebholo

Just imagine! Tinubu that goes to UK, Europe(France) for health tourism and vacations )? Even an absolute failure and disgrace like the D7 governor of Edo State too is also amplifying nonsense. This country must be salvaged from these imps with nothing to offer.

Even Remi Tinubu knows that her husband cannot deliver the prosperity she keeps talking about. She knows she is lying.

She knows that he lives in a bunker, doesn’t communicate with Nigerians, is detached from the harsh realities ordinary Nigerians face, and lacks the competence to deliver the prosperity she is promising.

I think the presidency needs to put a timeline on when the prosperity would come.

While the reforms are necessary, things are really hard. It seems no economic models were run on the impact of the reforms. During the period of painful reforms, the people should be given succor. As a matter of urgency, the reason for dependence on fuel is transportation and power. The power problem needs to be solved. If we need to borrow to build a modern grid, do so. It is sad that the greed of a certain presidential aspirant led to the lack of development of Mambilla. Now, regional development commissions needs to develop new power plants and local grid. FG must support this as a matter of urgency. Let our people see activities. Coastal highway is a good project, but Umahi changing it shows poor planning. We need to see new projects, and this would give people hope.

The second issue is food. Food is too expensive. What happened to the commodity boards Tinubu wanted to form? The Imota Ricemill in Lagos, what is it producing? Annually, food goes bad in Benue State because they are not evacuated to areas they are needed.

FG, organise with NURTW so they can move food in bulk from production zones to process zones and consumption zones.

Then take $350 million and purchase 10,000 Marcopolo buses or Innosson IVM 6571 / IVM 6751 60-seater bus running on CNG. Each state gets at least 270 buses. That would significantly reduce pressure on people buying fuel.

What Tinubu needs to do is give a timeline. When people see activity, they see hope.

There has been no First Lady in Nigerian recorded history that has misfired and mis-construed her thoughts more than Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu.

Dear Mrs. Tinubu,

Must you always talk and speak in such an elementary and stomach-ruminating way ma ?

I will advise Iyà Alakàrà to hire a public speaking expert to help her thoughts and subject articulation before holding the Mic.

Your infuriating speeches and non-sensitivity to the Nations mood are top-notch nerve wracking.

Base on what and what he as done huh

There is no way Nigerians can smell prpsperity with high cost of " energy" ... Fuel cut across anything & influence cost of living

There is no road path to bring cost of living down without fuel subsidy

If you like hire 10 Taiwo oyedele & 10 nkwonjo iweala put together ... any policy not that does not support subsidizing forget .. If you like get 100phd in economics

Mrs Tinubu, I'm afraid your husband needs you more than Nigeria will ever need him, going forward. He'd do just fine with you grin

These 4 years have seen him demystified and exposed for the fraud that he is.

Has absolutely no business being in governance.

Tinubu will not achieve anything even if you gave him 100 years.
In 4 years, he hasn’t done any meaningful reform.

Tinubu’s devaluation of the Naira, rather than raising taxes on the rich, has made the average citizen too poor to afford electricity. Without electricity, industrialization is impossible.

The real cost of governance is the recurrent expenditure. There are so many MDAs where workers do absolutely nothing productive. This is a cost to the system.

Tinubu has wasted 4 years and would certainly waste the next 4 years if giving the opportunity
