TemporaryHansel:You are going too far. The ways of God are past finding out by human understanding. The question of why God allows evil and suffering is one of the oldest questions in human history. But let us be honest, the fact that God does not stop every tragedy does not automatically mean He does not exist or he can't protect his people or that the miracles recorded in the Bible never happened. The Bible itself records the suffering and persecution of God's people. John the Baptist was beheaded, Stephen was stoned to death, and James was killed by the sword (Acts 12:2 these are just few examples ). All these happened to faithful men of God. Did their deaths mean God had abandoned them? Certainly not. Even God allowed Jesus to die on the cross. These examples remind Christians that suffering is part of the human experience and that everyone, regardless of their nation or faith, has a cross to bear. Faith does not mean that believers will never experience tragedy. It means trusting God even when we do not have all the answers to some questions. Christianity does not teach that every faithful person will be physically protected from every evil. That is why we pray daily in the Lord's Prayer, "Deliver us from evil." However, questioning why God allows innocent people to suffer is a legitimate question, and nobody should dismiss the pain of families who have lost loved ones to terrorism. ( John 16:33 explains this in details.) Not having a complete answer to why God permits suffering is not the same as proving that God does not exist or that He cannot protect His people. He knows all things, His ways is beyond human understanding, and His ways are unquestionable. God is able, absolutely able, to defend His people, even when we do not understand why He allows certain things to happen. |

Theflint1:Na why I dey look all this talk on life wey dey happen since. Make I just finish from work. Because this is the perfect example of how Lagos will enjoy benefits and then later some idiots will claim the state has not gotten preferential treatment. |

BlueRayDick: ![]() Scammed the whole country that they are building a masterpiece that will connect Southern Nigeria. Even put a rail that will link Onitsha ![]() After every every, na Ogun state the road go end. Lagos Coastal Highway ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 7:57pm On Oct 12 |
liveLongNprospa:You already know the answer to this. They'd tell you that your governors are olodos, lacking in vision for their themselves and their people. And you know what, they'd be correct. Our leaders in the South-South especially have failed to deliver governance and also failed in delivering a stake in whatever version of the contraption that exists. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 7:58pm On Oct 12 |
ND people as usual have lost out on this apparently. To make it worse, FG knew ever since that it was not feasible. Like from the very beginning they knew. Okay you decide to do white elephant project that we all know is an avenue to steal, make SS states atleast enjoy am, you still removed that one but conveniently left Lagos and Ogun state portion. |

Ibeme:You guys are funny. I see that you guys don’t know how to measure distance. Iyana Ipaja round about to Ilupeju on a stretch is 12km. Ilupeju is after Oshodi. That place doc is seeing as 14km is in the middle of the express between Iyana Ipaja to Oshodi.

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 8:02pm On Oct 12 |
Theflint1:This has nothing to do with the governors. The FG did an assessment. The FG signed off on that project. The FG started the project. They finished Lagos ASAP, finished Ogun ASAP and then suddenly the FG realised that oh part of Ondo and bayelsa and delta cannot be worked on because it will cost too much money. This is after doing an initial Comprehensive Assessment. God will punish anybody that will tell people in the future in this forum that other people should return to their states when the benefits of this robbery starts pouring into Lagos state account. Its the blatant way of robbery that is annoying me. |

liveLongNprospa:The Coastal road was the anthem all their governors sang when they defected Coastal road will heal the sick Coastal road will bring stable electricity Ati be be lo. Well, make everybody dey go Ogun state go see the tourist site. The lamba is over ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 8:03pm On Oct 12 |
izzou:I still can't believe they would have planned this thing for this outcome...seems so crazily corrupt. I mean the project could have sold simply on what was feasible, there was merit enough, and they could have gone about it without raising dust. Omor the nature of this corruption get as e dey |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:05pm On Oct 12 |
liveLongNprospa:Exactly. You cannot tell me this is not deliberate. Finished and completed Lagos and Ogun, then come and tell us that others cannot be done. They should go and join the East West road This one na im we dey call "Carry person Handicap" |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 8:05pm On Oct 12 |
izzou:Guy. This was one very very very expensive lamba, you know how many people lost their homes in the whole land reclaiming process. Ancestral homes oooo. All because of tribal/financial fucking greed. Yes ND governors are useless so that means the FG can just run the ND people street?? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 8:05pm On Oct 12 |
liveLongNprospa:They know it simply was about the FG and Tinubu wanting and having his way...the truth can't get in the way of a sweet lie. But then, it's something and however much stake he and his cronies would have in the completion of the "coastal road", it's something that would deliver value. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:08pm On Oct 12 |
Theflint1:Money that would have revived many roads is what they went to waste at the Coastal road Just came back, and I spent 5 hours at Okada. The distance was not even up to 1km Bad roads with trucks breaking down everywhere. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 8:10pm On Oct 12 |
izzou:What of the section that begun from Calabar is that abandoned too |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:10pm On Oct 12 |
liveLongNprospa:Any ND person who wants to see and enjoy the Coastal road should go to Ogun state and take pictures I remember that Winhomes saga, and how they have been dragging the matter since. Now, the road ends in Ogun. Tufiakwa |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 8:11pm On Oct 12 |
Theflint1:You will think people need to hear more about the details before making an opinion so they dont fool themselves like the diesel is 1900 news |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:11pm On Oct 12 |
raumdeuter:You should be updating us nau Na me you dey ask. The East West road does not connect to Calabar..Does it? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 8:15pm On Oct 12 |
Theflint1:The silence of Raumdeuter and Gallon D'or on this matter is quite disturbing, considering the fact that both of them promoted the project as what will usher in the golden age of Nigeria and viciously attacked anyone who called out the project as a white elephant scam. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 8:16pm On Oct 12 |
izzou:The way them first commot landmark. Bruh make everybody mind dey. These guys go collect money just to benefit 2 states. Omo This robbery pain me guy. Because I know that as folloish as ND leaders are, the people deserve so much better for the fact that they have suffered shege. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 8:20pm On Oct 12 |
izzou:You are the ones carrying the news while I am waiting to hear more of the details But since you know you can tell us more 1. What happens to the Calabar end that work is ongoing, does it also connect to the East west or there was no Calabar end of the road from begining So if you say this is Lagos -Ogun, Do you also tag the other side Calabar-Akwa Ibom road How many Kilometers of road end up being completed vs how much was initially planned The road that diverts at the end of Ondo into Edo will also pass through areas and provide the alternatives to commuters |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 8:20pm On Oct 12 |
Theflint1:Guy.. They never planned to go past Ogun state. This whole thing had always been the plan. Shenk the others, develop their side and keep it moving. Like I said, let me see the stupid argument from anybody that only 1 tribe has a say in Lagos after robbing a shit load of states just to advance the state. Fvcking bastards all of them! |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 8:21pm On Oct 12 |
raumdeuter:Hear more than what was said by the projects lead engineer ? We dey wait ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 8:21pm On Oct 12 |
TemporaryHansel:You will think people wont make comments on what they dont know about fully until they get the full picture. That is a totally new concept to you I guess |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:22pm On Oct 12 |
liveLongNprospa:Tinubu had to wait till he completed the Lagos -Ogun axis. Fixed street lights, and hired Coastal guards, before he remembered that Ondo, Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa cannot be done. Hehehehehe Bola Ahmed Ajudua ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 8:23pm On Oct 12 |
liveLongNprospa:Well I've never been one of those that believe any tribe has more of a say over any other tribe as regards any part of the contraption. So long as the contraption exists, people should always feel free to exist in freedom, that's my abiding belief. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:24pm On Oct 12 |
raumdeuter:The road that diverts into Edo, is joining the East West road. East West road has already been existing before APC was born. That's where we pass to the South South Don't come and tell us it is an alternative. ![]() |
