You get power, and you're petty i must say, you document everything to the littlest detail over a long period of time, even despite the repairs and replacement you still didn't get satisfaction, now after all the back and forth was it worth the stress? No, I'd rather count my losses and move on, all this money spent chasing the wind could easily get you a new device but thats just me, like i said you take petty to a whole new level. |

He is like me. I can fight a N100k issue with N10m just out of principle LOL. I hate to be cheated, but as I have grown older, I have learned to leave justice to God, and trust me, I always receive justice. This is very commendable I must say. I still doubt anything will come out of it, because corruption has eaten into the fabric of our society. Next time, buy from Samsung USA unlocked and harass them, they will do the needful. starpower: |

As someone said earlier, you need to choose your battles. After you got the replacement phone, you should have just let everything go. Is this fair to you? No!. But this is Nigeria, where everything goes. But think about the money and fees you will pay to lawyers, and time that may be wasted, It will be more than the N93,000 you are fighting them to give to you. |

coindecimal:the only different between yours and mine is that you bought yours in Enugu south east and fake items have something in common. It was around that 2022 I bought mine, august or so. And its the same phone I'm using to type this right now. Over 4years. Now, as a long time user of Samsung A73, there is one way that phone could develop this fault u atr describing. The one I'm sure off is if the phone fell down very hard and it affect the panel below, it will disrupt the phone ability to receive netwrk |

Some comments on this post just shows why Nigeria is like this... Most of us only attack the government due to tribal sentiment not majorly for true accountability.... Why would any sane human blame the op or advice he take his loss for a device that has 2years warranty? Why would any device have to be repaired repeated to fix an issue and you all think he should just move on without an apology or clear explanation.... This is why I don't take people serious when they are ranting about government |

FBIBOT:Online support. Where have you been in the past 4 years when he was going through all this? If the issue extends beyond what it is right now, aside dragging people, what else can you offer the Op? |

Trojan8:If you can't offer moral support... Just stfu and move on... Don't try to blame him for fighting for his right and what he believes... That's the problem with us generally.... You are asking where have been since 4yrs ago... Did he post this 4yrs ago?... Stop making excuses and condemn what's bad |

FBIBOT:Many nigerians are defeated people, No principles, no hope, no directions, no inspiration, no nothing! In their minds Samsung cannot be challenged. Maybe in nigeria samsung cannot be challenged. I have bought phones several times and once there is fault, as long as there is a warranty, which is always the case in every new phones bought in a phone shop, i will get a refund or a replacement. It would clearly say so on the invoice printed out of a cash till. "If there is fault you have 28 days to return in original packaging, without damages or scratches and a replacement or refund will be issued it is part if your purchasing rights" I bet some of them have never read or come across these form of purchasing or customer's rights |

Some ignorant minds telling him what is 95k that he cannot leave for samsung? Wny is he righting samsung? Samsung are too big to fight. So if Samsung are too big and what is 95k for Samsung? to refuse to give him back 95k Why is a too big company like samsung oppresing a poor customer and suing him? Why would samsung spend thousands on a lawyer but cannot give him back ordinary 95k? Una dey tell ordinary man to leave 95k for a multi billion dollar company. All.of una dey yarn dust na only in nigeria samsung fit oppress customer wey come purchase their product. Try am for our side here na beg samsung go beg. Here wey we poor people dey enjoy fight with rich companies and rich people, dem go pay compensation quick quick companies do not like going to court in a lawful country it isn't good for their image especially with a customer, companies always tries hard to settle outta courts |

Joyebiere:You are right. I'm very sure the money he spent on lawyers and all the inconveniences is way more than 90k already. If he wants the A73 so bad why not accept the offer of adding money. Wisdom is profitable to direct. Moreover how did he intended to lock horns with Samsung in a court case where our judiciary system is corrupt, imagine his own lawyer even working with the opponent lawyers. |

affable4:My brother bought a Samsung phone from America but with European charging specifications. The Samsung was not built for Nigerian Networks so it had a network problem. I have two other London used Samsungs I bought on computer village that have the same issue. It was never a problem I simply bought phones that where not for NIgeria. My sister then bought a Samsung that was built for NIgerian networks in computer village Ikeja Lagos and no issues for over six months. When they tell you people to buy itel, Infinix and Tecno that are created and built for the NIgerian experience you people will carry up your noses. You people want to drive Bugatti Chiron on Egbeda roads and then complain to Bugatti that the bumper is entering potholes |

LordLicifer:Leave them dont mind those unfortunate Nigerians. they have been programed to think and act like that and thats the reason the politicians are dealing with them seriously, because normally an Average Nigerian is a coward and all they know is how to make noise and initial gra gra. Iseddy:And the reputation damage to Samsung and that usless Nigerian company Finet is not enough for them to let go ordinary N93K. |

epainos:He also need to go to twitter (X) handle, Facebook and Instagram of both Samsung International and that of its registered dealer to lay-down how both have been treating him. This is the type of case Nigerian lawyer supposed to be interested to take, even without demand any advance payment. Sue both manufactural and the dealer for reasonable amount for extortion and inconveniences then share the money. |

I sincerely feel for you and hope you get a meaningful resolution. Samsung taught me how to always consider the after sales/customer service experience of a product after purchase as part of the value and experience of the product beyond the glitz, glamour, and capabilities of the product. Specifically for 2 products on 2 separate occasions. First, a Samsung watch and then the Samsung Fold 5. In both cases, during the after-sales process, even going as far as getting a police report for one case as suggested by Samsung, I was left with an awful taste in my mouth. Needless to say, I lost out on both occasions without any resolution, through no fault of mine. The only thing I did not do, unlike you, was begin the legal process, even though i have similar documentary evidence like yours to demand real resolution. Instead, I ate humble pie and swore I would never use or recommend any Samsung product to even my enemy, no matter how shiny the product on offer looked, since i now know something, others don't from my experience. When/if you have a problem with a Samsung product after purchase, you are royally screwed. Your only hope is to pray you never have an issue; however, the cost of that hope seems too expensive for my peace of mind. In my case, I even bought my products directly from Samsung, yet no support. |
