Rufai of Arise TV should come and dispute this report. This is a good news that Nigeria could be recognised among the list of countries with excellent growth forecast in 2026. I wonder what the situation of Nigeria will be now if the govt had not taken a decision on subsidy and exchange rate. When states were owing backlogs of salaries and Emefiele was printing naira to augment allocations to states, where was Rufai? When people cannot access forex and had to go to black market to buy from aboki at higher rates, where was Rufai? When Buhari did forward sales of crude oil to fund the budget, pay subsidy and debt owed, where was Rufai? I think he prefers that Nigeria economy should collapse and that is why he keeps waving aside the gains of this administration and report from international agencies. He was even attacking govt that food is cheap because import tariff was lowered or removed at the expense of farmers, why is he bittered about this for someone who claim he's fighting for the masses. There is no better alternative to Tinubu for now except we want to erode the gains of this current administration, the focus of the govt now is to see how ameliorate hardship people are facing and develop a robust plan to address this. |

Wow. This is wonderful and deserve an applaud. At least this is worth celebrating. Good job to our incompetent president and his team. Steadily we shall be growing on paper and hopefully we shall get there. Until the day I start seeing the effects of Tinubu's policies on ground and on the common person, I won't stop calling him an incompetent president. May God bless Nigeria. May God bless us all |

What is the point of celebrating macroeconomic growth when the ordinary citizens cannot feel its impact in their daily lives? What good are impressive GDP figures if food remains unaffordable, purchasing power continues to decline, unemployment persists and millions struggle to meet their basic needs? Economic growth should not merely look good on paper,it should translate into improved living standards for the people. What is the use of a man being wealthy if his wife and children are still starving? What good is his impressive bank balance if his family cannot afford decent food, quality education, healthcare or a comfortable life? Wealth should reflect in the wellbeing of those it is meant to serve. If a man is getting richer while his family remains trapped in poverty, then one must ask: what is the value of that wealth if its benefits never reach the people who need them most? If the economy is growing but the citizens are getting poorer, then we must ask: growth for whom, and to what benefit? |

"forecast". These people should stop this crazy predictive analysis and touch down the country for more accurate observational evaluation. Not everybody can be fooled |

IMF said Nigeria is among the countries leading in IMF Global Growth Forecast For 2026. Isn't this ironic?? Because the Nigerians am seeing are very hungry and frustrated. And what am seeing so far is that nothing is working in Nigeria except for corruption, lies, forgery (Oluwole) and deceit at the highest order. That's why their boys and few girls have resorted to yahoo yahoo, money rituals, armed robbery, kidnapping etc. while most females are into transactional relationships or pay as u go (Ashawo). Am being sincere because I love to call a spade a spade and move on... I cum in Peace!!!

We've always been on the list since in the 70s, nothing new. No be today e start and that cant be credited to anybody. Nigeria could have fared better with good leaders. Meanwhile, IMF is our problem. They always talk with with sides of their mouth despite the obvious. |
| Re: India, China, Nigeria Leads IMF Global Growth Forecast For 2026 by mustykenzy(m): 1:23pm On Oct 13 |
Lol, and you think there are Jobs that can provide the basic need of an average Nigerian, where are the jobs? People labour and struggle every single day, living with high cost of feeding, transportation, and can't even afford social emenities... Most white collar jobs today are like slavery because of high cost of living kabillion: |
| Re: India, China, Nigeria Leads IMF Global Growth Forecast For 2026 by mustykenzy(m): 1:28pm On Oct 13 |
And what makes you think I am jobless, the issue we have is when people like you open your dirty mouth to find one way or the other to defend bad government... And besides, where are the jobs? Nigerians try to strive on their own not because the government is trying to make things easy for them, all these policies do not favor the common man, because his salary cannot afford his basic needs kabillion: |
