They influence INEC officials to alter results at the collating centres, but they have zero influence in telling citizens who to vote.

Does State Gov'nors Really Influence Electoral Outcome for Presidents?: 2023 Proved Otherwise

THEORY: 2027: It’s Sour Grapes to Suggest Governors Will Not Impact Tinubu’s Re-election Bid – Otubanjo

There are governors in the upcoming elections who may not significantly influence the results. For instance, the governors of the South-East, Rivers, and Oyo states may not be able to deliver their states for the parties to which they belong.

The South-East is determined to produce the next president and may not necessarily align with governors who are largely supporting Tinubu. However, President Tinubu has won over more governors in states where he performed poorly in 2023, and some governors have the political machinery to influence and mobilise voters.

If they did, Tinubu would have won Lagos.

It was all a game. That lost was well played. So that when they rig in other states there will not be complain. You think they don't know what they're doing? Watch what will happen in 2027. Another different game.

Tinubu spent over a month in France, and Bayo Onanuga told Nigerians he was resting and preparing for the “rigorous campaign season ahead.” Now that the campaign is here, he appears to be outsourcing the heavy lifting to APC governors.

The schedule released by the APC suggests Tinubu will attend fewer campaign venues than most presidential candidates in Nigeria.

So, what exactly was he preparing for in France, Mr. Onanuga? If he was resting for a rigorous campaign, why is he now leaving the heavy lifting to the governors?
Which is which?
Do you still need prophet Ayodele to tell you that Tinubu is not well? Bro!!! Tinubu is sick! They won't admit it openly because of what the constitution says.

Me, I knew he was sick the day he came back from his "vacation". First, his son was seen dancing at the tarmac of the airport. You know what that means for someone who knew what took his father to France? Then, the president who went for "vacation" (to rest) returned to his country home in Lagos after 31 days of "resting" in France, instead of resuming to work.

The schedule listed 12 states that he will lead the campaign. Are the other presidential candidates presidents? Do they have the work load of the president? Should the president abandon the ship of state for election campaign? Is this the best for Nigeria and Nigerian economy?

For me Tinubu is confident of returning and he doesn't want to derail his program because of election campaign. Besides he has got people that he trusts and believes in his vision. What is wrong in his allowing them to campaign for him. The other candidates don't have such liberty so they have to labour it out themselves.

Watch APC and Tinubu. There is absolute capacity, thoughtfulness and planning. The other parties have not constituted their PCC, no manifesto, no schedule and no plan and program.

Most of the time, our analysis is flawed and lack logic.
1. can Nigeria boost of free and fair elections?
2. can nigeria boost of no vote buying
3. Can nigeria boost of no tribalism and religion sentiment.
if all things are equal, no vote buying, no rigging, tribalism, no religion sentiment, maybe Obi will win but seriously, all those factors will still work out in any election in Nigeria for now till we have high numbers of educated populace in Nigeria.
any analysis we are doing should be based on those factors if you want to have correct results
oshkoach:
Governors can only help to rig the elections in their respective states but not deliver votes.

A governor and all his political appointees have one vote each.

So getting governors to decamp is just an assurance that such governor will help the president to rig the election.

But Nigerians can still stop that by voting and protecting their votes.

Due to the policies of this administration, there would be no longer prosperity for an average Nigerian except u become a criminal.

Someone earning less than 300k monthly can never build or own a house in his life time and the question is what is the percentage of Nigerian earning 300k huh
