Aside from the percentages and probability learning being suggested for people of this generation to get familiar with. Another concept that should really be important to people especially in this Social Media Era is a concept called Survivorship Bias

Those things heavily populating Social Media - especially the (perceived) successful ones are in the tiny minority. You arent seeing the majority that tried and failed - because they have no incentive to populate SM with a woeful result. That you see all the Odogwus and money wasters on SM doesnt make it a realistic or likely scenario for you to plan on

One funny confra is NBM. They always claim they're not a cult group, but their activities show otherwise.

Don’t get it twisted

A woman’s appreciation of a man’s gestures is inversely proportional to how long ago he made them.

If you had to choose between starting a business for a woman and giving her gifts randomly over time, go for the latter.

Women don’t know how to hold on to the emotional gratification of things you did a long time ago. They’re often more influenced by recent experiences.

For instance, if you set up a business for her with ₦3 million in 2020, but from then until 2026, you suddenly became stingy, she might end up resenting you.

You’d probably be better off spreading that ₦3 million across six years, consistently doing thoughtful things for her along the way. She’ll love you more for that.

This is how 90% of them think.

This is in my hometown. Confraternities are mostly peaceful these days as they have been integrated into the economy since Amnesty through pipeline contracts etc. The biggest confra man Ateke is also the biggest peacekeeper. If you cause ruckus in my town, you will hear from Ateke.
Seems they learned from Tinubu agbero integration and created space for them.in the eocnomy rather than leaving them as outlaws wey govt go dey spend resources chasing around

So I was at a bar this evening for normal evening cruise and an issue happened. Something we discussed here recently.

I was just waiting to get home first before I post it here, since there are others around me and will probably see what I'm typing.

All of us at the bar, all of them are married, except me. I'm at that stage where everyone around me is married, so I always seem like an outlier.

Now what caused issue is this, one of the men's wife got fvcked outside. grin

The matter was really serious. Some men were pressuring him to go and destroy the business place of the individual that "fvcked" his wife.

So much anger in the air. People wey no get wife come dey para pass who get wife wey them lash sef.cheesy

Now, what brought about my confusion is that every single one of these men cheat. Serious big time cheaters that have probably lost count of the number of women they've bedded this year alone.

How does it make sense that other women fvck you outside but you don't want your wife to be fvcked by another man.

It just seems like Nigerian women exist to be play toys for men, and it's unfortunate the women just accept it like that. It's really weird.

I don't know if I'm the weird one. I don't cheat when I'm in a serious relationship because it pains me when I get cheated on. So I just feel like, why do you something that I won't like if you do it to me? I try to consider the feelings of my partner before making decisions, but it seems the wider percentage of men don't? You're a human with feelings, don't you think the other person has feelings that should be taken into consideration too?

I just pity the impressionable youngings on social media joining cult because of the “doings” and aesthetics they see them posting about their philanthropic moves .

While they are busy posting how they renovate roundabouts on social media ,people who belong to the same confra are getting unalived at Lekki-Epe expressway in Lagos , North bank in Benue state and other flashpoints spread across the country .

The best decision you can take as a Nigerian youth is never to join confra while in school or out of school .

So many things have conspired to degrade Nigerian youths. Economic hardship, poor governance and corruption, educational instability, advent of social media, proliferation of ill-gotten wealth, decline in the family system and the attendant erosion of moral values. If you run away from one negative influence you are likely to run into another one.

Add proliferation of predatory gambling and flooding of Nigeria with synthetic cannabis

We had a excellent worker who had a drug problem and had an episode on site. It was a complete disaster.

Yeah, that substance abuse thing seems to have gotten out of hand. I remember when i was a kid only the baddest of the baddest knew what weed smelled like and most people had never even seen it and that was the worst drug in regular circulation.

When I was a kid, people who smoke weed hide it from friends and family. People go as far away from home as possible to smoke weed.

Some go to far away football fields to smoke weed . Nowadays small small boys go dey smoke for front of their house and people just move on like it's nothing. People will do party close to your house and by 6pm while the sky is still clear, boy go don dey kpo within residential areas.

China already has flying cars and are planning max production and distribution for next year. There's nothing practical and sustainable about this rubbish design from Musk. Hollywood level stunt that will never materialize into anything.

In the words of one ninja, good women outnumber good men handsomely

Therefore there will be many good women who will never know the love of a good man

Therefore men are the prize.

Those women in the congregation shouting "Men dey" must be planning to share the same man. Men dey but good men no dey.
Good men dey, good rich men -meagre.

First off, I'll trust US tech and safety protocols over China any day. Secondly, please remind me how practical and readily available those Chinese flying cars actually are right now.
As we speak, no international aviation authority has cleared passenger drones to fly over civilian city streets. They are restricted to tightly controlled test zones because a 20-minute battery life is completely impractical for real world commuting. Meanwhile, Tesla is building mass market autonomous ground vehicles designed to navigate real roads, pass rigorous crash tests, and serve millions of everyday citizens sustainably.

A flying car is a drone or helicopter

The challenge is not flying but organising commuters so they don't crash into each other in the air. There are already vehicles that move on road and in the air efficiently.

How can you criticise the Chinese for what they are doing in the air, then praise Tesla for what they are doing on the ground. You are not comparing in the same dimension.

That's like criticising Usain Bolts swimming and simultaneously praising Asafa Powells running. The bias in your post is too obvious.

You can have this same experience with your male friend sha. E be like you never see shege for men hand before.

You can be extremely generous to someone, even find a job for him, when you stop doing those stuff for him, he turns your enemy.

Ingratitude/ungratefulness is not a gender thing. It cut across both sides, it's just that the way I see it, some of you are too gender centric, meaning if you're a man and other men does something wrong you overlook it because you're both the same gender, and if you're a woman and your fellow women do something wrong you support them because you belong to the same gender. That is a flawed way of living imo.

*Please this is my personal opinion, nobody should quote me with anyhow stuff*
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ibime(m): 9:42am On Oct 16
In 2017 or so, one Musk fanboy at my workplace swore nobody else will produce functional electric vehicles with good range as no one else has his proprietary car battery technology

Now they are everywhere, some with longer range with no qualms

There is nothing hidden under the sun. Anybody claiming they hold the secret alchemy is just trying to pump their share price.
