SHOOPSYN:
Indrive should not start what they can't finish. It will shoke them. The major reason drivers port to Indrive is because of the freedom. Introducing nonsėnsē "cancelation rate", is Introducing unnecessary problems.
Most cancelation is beyond drivers control.
Both Apps keep blocking drivers, despite the ridiculous fare prices, because is less competitive.
Any new app should just come with that 'freedom'.
But, what exactly is the problem of these app companieshuh
Trouble dey sleep, yanga dey wake am!
Not until Bella came, Uche was doing very fine with Bolt. He understands the Nigeria market.
The reality of driver/rider relationships goes beyond using computer system in offices.
@Glithronix, tell your people to thread carefully grin
Prices should have started skyrocketing for this period we dey like this, but these people are so crayzee mehn!
The protest dem dey do up and down no even enter at all.

to be honest, not enough volume here for full time work, you can spend an hour waiting for the next ride and even then it's you and 20 other people in the area doing first to click on indrive.

Bolt might be better, but the prices are too bad last I checked
Na wa o. Thank you for the feedback

Bolt taxation from the government makes it difficult to reduce its own commission while competition makes it difficult for them to increase its price. The effect is on the drivers. Drivers are suffering.

That reminds me, all those drivers here uploading income dashboard as of last year , showing off how much they are making , why the sudden mute ? You guys should continue uploading your dashboard oo so we see how much you are making. I will never blame Bolt nor indrive because drivers are the problem . You kept on showing millions you are making monthly forgetting those Bolt and indrive workers and agents are here watching . Now they have succeeded in limiting your incomes una don begin join protest. Rubbish

I beg to disagree, whether drivers post their earnings or not, bolt, indrive, opay, palmpay, moniepoint etc have a solid data of how much you make from e-hailing. The problem is the sharp rise in fuel cost, that is the real elephant in the room.

That is not the issue actually, it's the high cost of fuel and terrible prices out here, it's not by posting dashboard, afrerall this app coys have access to this data. This is what I made yesterday. 59k on Indrive and 18k on Bolt. The fuel cost was the major headache. I used 35k fuel to achieve this. 77k-35k less 1k for airtime equals=41k net. Imagine I was on CNG or electric.

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by tobby98: 6:30pm On Oct 16
I have not visited the mechanic or rewire since over 4 months now, just do the regular oil change and all, my car is actually sound but my concern is would CNG affect overall performance? And guys any recommendations on the best place to do it?

Totally agree with you, another factor is the sharp decline in the purchasing power of Nigerians. People can't even afford basic necessities anymore, everybody is cutting down on spending which definitely has impacted ehailing.

Fuel takes atleast 70% of Gross income now.

Either fuel price reduces or Bolt/indrive increase base fares by 20-30%. It will still not be as expensive as LagRide.

Some still earn high on paper which is the dashboard. What's the sense there to show off earning of 90k a day when 80k went into fuel and commission. Their pricking consciences will not let them post such dashboard. They know it will be tagged "slavery'.

Even those on CNG are a bit careful. They too know the pain they go through in order to earn, car issues, etc. To stay under blazing sun a whole day in queue no be your mate.

Calculate well bros. About 15k of that 40k went into commission. Abi you carry Indrive and Bolt money run? grin Your take home for all the hassles is about 20k. E no reach buy another 35k fuel for another day's work. This is the reality of the business for any body out there contemplating going into this business. You will suffer for nothing, trust me.

You didn't even break even if we calculate well. Reality is that you lost and wasted a whole day driving round Lagos.

PS
Lolz. I didn't see the net attached to the screenshot. Still a terrible take home if you calculate well Your 40k means you may have to use 35k from it the next time to buy fuel, leaving you with about 5k. For crying out loud, its never worth it whichever angle you are looking at it. Waste of time.

Morning bosses. Pls how do you guys deal with phones overheating while using the Bolt Driver app and Google Maps?

Mine overheats a lot even when I'm running just these two apps. And most times the apps will just close. And then I'd have to turn off the phone and wait for sometime. It can be really frustrating cuz sometimes it does this mid ride, and then I'll start begging riders to give me directions.

I use a Samsung S20 with a Snapdragon chip. It's 6gm RAM.
Put it away from sunlight. If you hang your fun and it's facing direct sunlight or you put it on the center console near your gear and sunlight hits it, it will overheat. At least those are 100% the only times my phones overheat.

Brothers I need help urgently..my fuel pump just pack up and see wetin rewire wan use put inside me fuel pump back. According to him, he rejoined the wires there and had to use nylon to cover it because black tape can't be used inside the fuel tank.
Camry v4 2011, I paid 40k and was told they'd buy Belgium complete.
I refused. Bosses, Kindly advice. What's the proper solution.

To be honest, that's why I stopped complaining of price. A suitable increase is not affordable by the average rider, and correct me if I'm wrong but there seems to be a decline in riders especially on bolt in recent times compared to earlier in the year.
