If one cannot spare 10-15 mins to boil their own eggs, they earned whatever they get from buying already boiled eggs. I mean, is that how little you love yourself? |

Nigerians are very creative , but I wonder why this people can't mske an alternative that will save the nation from fuel hardship, something like water as fuel for vehicles, generators, gas etc, at least a bank already had that dream, instead of inflicting pains on the masses. |

Nothing good pass cooking your meals. Even it will get to a stage where we'll start baking our bread. Quick money means everywhere! They use detergents in soaking Cassava to enhance the fufu. They use Calcium carbide, an illegal and toxic chemical on unripe fruits to quicken rippening. They inject watermelon with dyes to make it redder. Same as Palmoil. They use sniper in stock fish to protect it from insects and small ants. We are the village people to ourselves! |

How did this nonsense make fp That's how some clowns claimed that Chinese were exporting plastic rice to Nigeria NL should give its for some sanity Simple science tells us that detergent cannot reduce the boiling point of water Instead it will increase it so who or where did she see this being done They need to start arresting the content creators causing public panic through lies |

What do they use to preserve fish? ... so why wouldn't they not use detergent in boiling eggs? She did not just run to SM because if what she was told ... she did an investigation... observed eggs were boiled in foamy water which can suggest detergent was added....and it had the smell. She is not sure and so did not come to a conclusion. Is it not for us to be aware and pay attention? Instead some of us are accusing her of being an attention seeker via content creation. And we wonder why we are how we are .... all about self... gain for self. |

Noticed it with a vendor near my office here in Abuja as far back as 2018, asked him why, said it helps with shelling the egg, stopped buying from him. Made me weary of eating boiled eggs outside my house |

It has been going on since my childhood, at least since the 1970s. Boiled egg sellers don’t even make a secret out of it. It’s open knowledge that detergent is used to boil commercial eggs. Back in time you will even notice remnants of the detergent as powdery stuff on the egg shells. I’m surprised people of this generation are just hearing of it. |
