He's not capping at all. All the petrol smugglers at Owode, Idiroko road have all since disappeared.

Fuel before was N180 per litre

Fuel right now is N1400 per litre

And this Cameroon man said he doesn't want Bola to win

The problem of commercial transportation is not the high price of fuel but the number of extortion points mounted on roads by police, VIO, army, navy, states IGR officers, agberos etc. They operate everywhere and their extortions are passed on to passengers and goods/services. If these are eliminated, nobody will remember that fuel price is 1,400.

Nigeria can't afford to be subsidizing fuel for other countries in Africa where they smuggle our cheap fuel to.
They declare false figures on petrol imports to scam the FG.. they claim x100 of the actual quantities of imported petrol to collect subsidy payments to the tune of billions of naira at the expense of hard working and law-abiding Nigerians.

Anyone still demanding return of fuel subsidy at this point is an illiterate or probably an educated illiterate. The best way to go is to diversify to other sources of enegy e.g. CNG, EVs, Hydrogen etc.

Imagine destroying your children's welfare because your children normally share their food with their classmates at school. You must be wicked to do that. If you don't want that, take other measures, but don't deprive your children of their daily needs.
