A businessman from Aba spotted Governor Alex Otti at the airport, approached him emotionally, and handed him money.

“I love what you’re doing. You’re doing a great job for our people. Please use this money to buy fuel for your car. You’ve made me a proud Aba boy!”

The Aba businessman knelt down and handed the governor what appeared to be a dollar note. Alex Otti accepted the money and said, “You have sown a good seed, and you will reap your good reward.”

No staged cameras. No prepared speech. Just a citizen who felt seen and decided to say thank you in the most Nigerian way possible.

How many teachers has he employed, to change public school enrolment by how much?

How many well paid civil servants has he employed, to change the availability of water by how much?

I was working in Aba, going from waterside to Mcc, the day this man was announced as the winner of the election.
I saw palpable joy in the faces of the people, people literally flooded the streets rejoicing, I had to tell my driver to park by the roadside before we run over somebody.

I'm jealous of what this Man is doing, while uzor-ojor is here messing up my state.

Tell us here what Otti is doing or has done that other Governors have not done or are doing right now.
You people are used to the lowest form of governance in your region hence you are worshipping Otti as if he's doing anything that others have not done before.
Otti like other Governors are able to do more basically because of the economic agenda of the President.
They don't have to go and borrow money just to pay salaries or pay half salaries.
They have more money at their disposal for capital projects.
He's basically getting more money from the federal govt just like other Governors.
