Let's stop the deceit. There is nothing like production subsidy. Peter Obi is an importation expert. If Peter Obi becomes president by any means, he will face the greatest challenge from his immediate community who will think he is going to support their activities. The amount of petrol we consume daily since subsidy removal is about 60% less now from about 60 million litres daily to about 20 million litres if we mistakenly return subsidy just expect about 100 million litres daily and then still long queues at filling stations while black market aboki seller will have fuel selling at 2000 naira per litre but filling station selling at 200 naira per litre will not have fuel a perfect Peter Obi supporters economic principle and the same with cheap dollar official price will be 400 naira for a dollar but you can never get at the bank or use your debit card to pay for goods at that rate but aboki black market currency exchange which even an aboki selling sugar cane will have for sale at 1800 naira per dollar for only 100 dollars bill ooh but licensed banks will not have even 1 dollar to sell to you yet government is subsidizing dollar so Peter Obi supporters can be happy to see a low price.

Peter owns a farm, he has a heavy stake in the brewery you guys always mock him with and you can use Google to ask if a brewery is a production company or not.


Peter Obi have huge stake in several production companies and businesses you patronize almost daily as a Nigerian.

Quite illogical to be subsidizing PMS for other countries and getting nothing in return. My only grouse with Tinubu is not allowing GEJ to remove subsidy when it was economically wise and having made adequate arrangements like Sure P and other social schemes to cushion the effects of subsidy removal.

Secondly, instead of using the subsidy savings for the common good of Nigerians, Bola decided to gift it out to governors in billions while Nigerians get poorer. This kangaroo government presently has zero genuine social scheme for the masses, especially the youths. This is unprecedented! Mr. Man, Nigeria is a rich country but our leaders frivolous spending is what is killing the system. There are things we must do without. See the number of aides the president and his vice is parading. See the number of special advisers. All that draining our resources must be eradicated. Frivolous spending must be jettisoned.
A serious question must all be asked. Why are our refineries not working till date? OBJ said it less than 2 years ago and the president's parrots attacked him. A nation like Nigeria have no reason not to have functional refineries if truly we have good leaders. All the crop of leaders that we have had are all ojelus that doesn't want the good of this country. They just come empower their cronies and throw crumbs at their supporters and left the country even poorer than they met it.

Fuel entering neighboring countries can actually be dealt with. It is not rocket science. One of the ways is to strengthen the borders against smuggling and against corruption in the customs and other security agencies then criminalize the smuggling of the commodity. Even with these, they will attempt to smuggle and you will catch them, then punish those caught severely like life imprisonment, I swear, it will cut off the smuggling by more than half. Even at that, attempts will still be made and this can be dealt with even to the top of the customs.
This is just one way, I’m certain there other numerous ways to stifle smuggling and make it less attractive rather than choke Nigerians with the price.

People that are shouting tinubu had stopped our enjoyment. Please name list of things you are enjoying before tinubu was elected. Free fuel, free electricity, free exchange rate. Then ask yourself a good and honest question must these things be free. Mention 5 Africa countries and advanced countries in the world where All these things are been subsidized even to a free state.
Mind you Nigeria is not the highest producer of crude oil considering the population statistics. If you have a family of 6 and all what you do is to use your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly incomes is feeding and housing the you are a bad leader. Think outside political and sentimental interests please reason broadly.
List countries in Africa that have student loans scheme, advanced and rapid continuous infrastructure drives that can match Nigeria at present. Before you criticize take an intentional tour to Nigeria roads both federal and state and see what are going on to what we have before, go to federal school and see the transformations in learning, Power supply and the students economics. Everything should not be captured on hatred, interest, beliefs, alignment think towards vision and broader vision.
