BREAKING: GBENGA DANIEL RESTORES SIGHT TO OVER 130 OGUN RESIDENTS AS US DOCTORS PERFORM FREE SURGERIES

...Families celebrate GFF@25 medical mission as Daniel commits substantial personal resources to the programme, demonstrating free healthcare for Ogun residents.

More than 130 Ogun residents have regained their sight through the ongoing GFF@25 Free Medical Outreach sponsored by Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel, bringing renewed hope to beneficiaries and their families.

The humanitarian initiative, organised to mark the 25th anniversary of the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF), has brought medical professionals from the United States to Redeemer’s Health Village, Mowe, where they are performing eye surgeries, gynaecological procedures, orthopaedic interventions, and major and minor surgeries.

The programme, organised in partnership with Sharing Hope Medical Mission (USA), Sharing Hope and Care Foundation, and Redeemer’s Health Village, also provides free consultations, medications and other essential medical services.

Daniel has committed substantial personal resources to the programme, demonstrating his commitment to making essential healthcare accessible to residents who might otherwise struggle to afford specialist treatment.

The impact is already being felt among beneficiaries, with families expressing gratitude to Daniel for supporting an intervention that has given their loved ones renewed hope. For those who have regained their sight, the benefits extend beyond medical treatment to greater independence and an improved quality of life.

Beyond the surgeries at Redeemer’s Health Village, the medical outreach has taken routine healthcare services closer to communities through designated centres in participating local government areas. This decentralised approach is designed to make treatment more accessible, reduce overcrowding and enable more residents to benefit from the anniversary initiative.

The collaboration with international medical professionals also highlights the importance of partnerships in expanding access to specialist care. By bringing together medical expertise, facilities and philanthropic support, the initiative is addressing a range of healthcare needs while offering relief to families facing the high cost of treatment.

Beyond celebrating 25 years of the foundation’s activities, the outreach demonstrates how philanthropy and medical partnerships can bring essential healthcare within the reach of people who might otherwise struggle to afford it.

As the medical mission continues, its greatest measure of success will be the lives improved, the suffering relieved and the hope restored.

This is a commendable initiative. Access to eye care can be expensive for many people, so helping those in need is a great way to improve lives and give back to the community.

He's not seeking any elective post at least for now, he lost the primaries to the incumbent state governor for the senatorial seat he currently occupy. He's simply giving back some of his loot from his time as governor and now senator.

Gbenga Daniel, some individuals just do not have shame, how I wish, we were all exposed socially on the media when he governed Ogun state.
I spit.
I still remembered the decking he did in the name of building bridges along Ilisan road towards OLABISI ONABANJO University, Ago Iwoye.
I can still visualise the so call bridge decking....Ahhhh
I wish to know the soul that place a curse on Africa, the person no do well at all.
So in the future, this same Gbenga Daniel will come out to contest and people would vote for him.
It's a pity

You can hate yourself even.... Region or not you must learn not to dabble into complexities... You don't know that no man is an island and it's high time you started realizing that "Hate" is a big word.

This is a project I am also inspired to do. My aged father went through a 3rd eye-surgery recently and I was the one responsible for his oost surgery care. I was blown off with the rate even rich people are going for eye surgery in Nigeria. Many people cannot afford the care my father is accessing; hence, I am moved.

Doctors dread 100% blindness. That thing is not good at all. Doctors rush to save whatever isbleft they can save because 100% darkness is bad. I do not pray it for my worst enemy.

Please, always go for a complete eye check yearly or every 2 years if you are over 40. Reduce screen time, and always filter out blue ray from your phones and other gadgets.

Cataract is still better, do not play with glucauoma and some other deadly ones. Please, take care of yourself. May we not lose our sight in Jesus' name.

As many as inspired to get involved in this kind of project, please, do not hesitate to do it. Some bad people will take advantage of it, so, be ready to tackle such. And do not let such discourage you from helping people.

It is well.

Its sheer ignroance to associate every politician with stealing, do you know what OGD is worth in his private practice before politics?

Am not linking every politician to stealing, am saying OGD is not a saint. And if you talk about Kresta Laurel and his hotels around Ogun and it's environs, I still maintain that OGD is not a saint and has corruptly enrich himself just like most of the political leaders in the state.

Ogun State should be a developed industrial hub but their governors and representatives said no. They prefer embezzlement
