Politics aside, this thread touches something I'm researching as a student at Vanderbilt in the US: for those who send money home (or receive it), how is it actually working since the CBN's naira-only rule in May? What rate does your family get versus the street rate, and how long does it take to arrive?

There are different ways of sending money to Nigeria from abroad. There are exchangers and established organization.

The exchangers will receive the local currency from you and credit your Nigeria account, that government don't know much about it

The established organization are the ones government mostly get extra tax from as most are foreign bodies
