⚡ At least 7 people were killed and around 10 injured, some critically, when gunmen opened fire during a funeral at a church in Jordan’s southern Karak Governorate.

The attack took place at the church in the village of Hmoud, about 100 km south of Amman.

Reports say two gunmen got out of a vehicle and fired on mourners as a funeral procession was underway, with one eyewitness account saying the shooting lasted about five minutes before the attackers fled.

Security forces are pursuing the perpetrators.

⚡U.S. Forces Japan will ban all BYD vehicles from Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, citing security risks.

The ban applies with no exceptions to personnel’s private cars, contractor vehicles, taxis and delivery vans, with security forces turning them away at every gate.

Kadena, the largest U.S. Air Force base overseas, hosts the 18th Wing and the Typhon missile system capable of launching Tomahawk cruise missiles.

Base spokesperson Lt. Col. Alli Stormer said the vehicles “present an unacceptable and unmitigable risk to our personnel and our mission,” without giving details.

Yonhap, citing U.S. military officials, said the concern is that cameras, sensors, GPS and connected features could collect and leak sensitive information.

⚡Iran declares it will attack Israel's Dimona nuclear facility if the US or Israel restart the war and attack the Pickaxe Mountain nuclear site, per Iranian MP Bakhshayesh Ardestani.

"If Pickaxe Mountain is attacked, Iran will also attack Dimona," he says.

The Supreme Leader's office also published a dossier titled "New Fronts Will Be Opened" with an image of the Dimona reactor stamped "SOON."

Namaster:
Do these Muslim Countries have a BEEF with common sense?

Why are they going about forming USELESS defense pacts like JOBLESS housewives.

The West has NATO—a 32-member FORCE of war.

These people are forming 3 and 4-member COMMITTEES.

UNSERIOUS folks!

Get Iran.
Get Afghanistan.
Get Yemen.

Get EVERYBODY to sign up for a HARDCORE Mutual Defense Pact that WORKS.

Then leverage your VAST resources to ARM yourselves to the teeth.

Instead they are getting BULLIED by bloodthirsty ILLsraelis.

Netanyahu is even using his BOMBING of Qatar to CAMPAIGN.

Yet these people still DON'T want to have sense.
They might have the money but they simply don't have the people, except Iran, the others don't have the local knowledge to build technologies and defence arms and weapons to be a serious military, only Iran has such capabilities and of course they wouldn't want to be friends with Iran, hence Iran influence their citizens to revolt against the monarchies

Fuuuuuliish Iran should have used this opportunity to de-dollarize the Middle East.

Carrying containers with goods paid for in US dollars? Your ship gets sunk.

Buy in Yuan? You're granted safe passage.

Any tanker carrying oil that was paid for in US dollars will find itself at the bottom of the ocean.

Any oil pipeline built with US dollar will get blown up.

Any bank trading in dollars will be hit.

Declare the Gulf region a dollar free region and a Yuan only region.

These Iranians are just fighting a battle with no long term vision. Just vibes and inshallah.

[quote author=WriterrNg post=140989741]]...... Why are these guys risking it after all that has happened to errant ships transiting the wrong route. Is it CENTCOM that is still giving them the courage. CENTCOM that couldn't protect even ships that they were escorting. Anyway serves them right.

LordAdam suggested that the Captains of these vessels are being paid a MINIMUM of $100K/month plus BONUSES.

The crews could be getting about $30-50K/month plus BONUSES.

That's a LOT of money.

Plus, Iran is NOT trying to kill them.
Iranian ATTACKS on the vessels have been NON-LETHAL so far.

They just SHOOT to DISABLE the vessels.
They TAKE OUT the engines.

Which is STEWPID if you ask me.
Iran's actions in the Strait does NOT establish DETERRENCE.

It just makes transit MORE EXPENSIVE.

And for WEALTHY nations like the Gulf Countries, MORE EXPENSIVE is barely an INCONVENIENCE.

So there is NO reason for them NOT to continue to attempt to TRANSIT.

⚡Jordan's King Abdullah II vowed the harshest penalties available over the attack on a church in Karak. He offered condolences to the families of those killed and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The Nation Party, formerly the Muslim Brotherhood, also condemned the attack, calling it contrary to religious, humanitarian and national principles.

This is definitely a PROBLEM.
But it's NOT an insurmountable problem.

For instance, Turkey has a ROBUST Defense Manufacturing Sector.

IF they are UNWILLING to bring Iran into the fold, they can PUMP their resources into expanding and improving Turkey's Defense Manufacturers.

Secondly, they can BUY what they CANNOT produce.

They can look to China for that.

Instead of waiting YEARS for Patriots, they can buy Air Defense Systems from China.

Some people will ARGUE that China's Air Defense Systems are INFERIOR to the ones they buy from America.

I CANNOT speak to that.

But they are NOT getting those systems from America anyway.

Meanwhile, China can LEVERAGE their huge production capacity to FLOOD the Middle East with Air Defense Systems.

The Middle East should be covered in LAYERS UPON LAYERS of Air Defense Systems.

They can get that from China.

Right now, they are at the MERCY of American Manufacturers.

And they are like the FOURTH in line despite possessing VAST resources to acquire the systems.

America will get theirs FIRST.
Then ILLsrael will get theirs SECOND.
Europe/NATO will get theirs THIRD.

Then the Gulf Countries.

They NEED to break their shackles of SLAVERY to the Americans and WEAN themselves of their dependence on American Weapons.

Plus, a long-term Military Supply Contract like that would come with some form of TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER.

They can CAJOLE China to transfer some of those technical know-hows to the LOCAL people.

However, I don't expect the RICH and BOURGEOISIE countries like Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait to be INTERESTED in it.

That's where having a LARGER group of Nations in the Defense Pact comes in.

Poorer countries like Egypt, Pakistan and Yemen could serve as the MANUFACTURING base of the coalition.

It'll be good for the GROUP.
And good for the economies that NEED it.
