THE TRANSIENT NATURE OF LIFE: THEY WILL FORGET YOU QUICKLY**

Death is not the end. Being forgotten is the end.

When you die, this is what will happen:

Day 1:Your picture will be everywhere. "RIP, he was a good man." People who haven't called you in 5 years will post you with tears. Your WhatsApp will be full. "So sad."

Day 3:They will bury you. People will cry loudly at the grave. Some will faint. They will promise your mother "we will always be there for your children."

Day 7: Your friends will go back to work. Your Facebook profile will still be there but fewer comments.

Day 30: Your wife will still be crying every night when the children sleep. But your friends have already started laughing again. Someone will even tell a joke at your expense: "If he was here, he for..."

Month 3:Your children have gone back to school. Your wife has to start thinking how to pay rent. Those who promised "we will always be there" are not picking calls.

Month 6:Your phone number has been given to someone else. Someone else is using your office. Someone else is sitting where you sat in church.

Year 1:They will do one-year remembrance. Only 10 people will come. Your picture on Facebook has no likes again.

Year 2: Even your best friend will struggle to remember your death date. Your wife has been told to "move on, you are still young."

Year 5:Your children will be asked in school "who is your father?" They will try to remember your voice. Your Facebook account will be reported and deleted.

That is life.

We fight for cars, for land, for followers, for who is more popular on Facebook. But the grave swallows everything and the world continues like you never existed.

That is why you must stop living for people.

Because the same people you are trying to impress will forget your name before your body decays.

Live for God. Live for your children. Live for the few people who will cry when you are gone and still remember you after one year.

Because in the end, the crowd that claps for you today will clap for the person who replaces you tomorrow.

Nothing is permanent.

Very true. Though there are some people who are never forgotten, especially in cases where the deceased is connected to the people or persons in a very essential way.

Life is market place, the legacy you left behind speaks even when you are gone.


Live a life of positive legacy with God grace.


That's why as a man, never live for validation and approval of people.
