The people that came out yesterday show to everybody that the people of northern Nigeria appreciate what President Tinubu has done for the north in the last three and a half years. The number of people on the street, not to mention people around the venue of the rally, was more than 500k people.

2027: In Kaduna we are not talking about 70%. Allowing any candidate to even get 25% in Kaduna is a failure on our side because President Tinubu has done for Kaduna something we never dreamt of having.

When in a hole, stop digging. The necessity to lie when the truth is already out there only makes it worse. Tinubu was rejected in Kaduna but it's not the end of the world. It happens.

It was almost like it was pre-planned but it wasn't. Men, women and children from across Northern and Southern Kaduna boycotted the rally. 90% of the people that graced the rally were shipped in from other states and still, they booed the president and chanted Bamayi. Here is an account by the DailyTrust correspondent that was on ground confirming that the president was booed by the APC supporters.

What really happened in Kaduna yesterday? Hear it directly from the horse’s mouth!

A Daily Trust representative who was on the ground during the event has given his firsthand account of what transpired.
