OPEBI LINK BRIDGE UPDATE 🚧 🚧

Governor of Lagos State, Mr
@jidesanwoolu
today paid working visit to the brand new Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link bridge Project to see the ongoing historic design being done on the bridge.

This Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link bridge Project was designed to address major traffic issues and provide alternative routes for motorists traveling from Toyin, Allen, Opebi to Ojota, Maryland Ikeja and other surrounding areas.

Each ‘leg’ of the design has up to 36-40 piles at the foundation, which makes it up to about 16 piles in total, an LED display with lights of Lagos beaming from the bridge when completed.

Landscaping, Tree planting and others already being done by the bottom of the bridge.

The Design is around 80% completion and the road will be ready for use as soon as possible.

This project is taking too long to complete.

Lol, Lagos has roads more than any other State in Nigeria but most of them are poorly maintained.

So, how did you achieve your 300km drive if Lagos no get road?

Were you driving the Tesla Roadster?

How would you say Lagos state don't have road and you cover 300km daily hmm. This point shows you are an evil person in Lagos state, you hate the state and you can't go back to your state. How many kilometers of roads achieved by sanwo olu vs your state governor wicked people. How much are you paying for the 300km of roads you covered daily how much? Using free roads and bridges and you still complain.

The annoying part of this project will be that they toll traffic on it or that it took him his whole tenure to build

Are those over head structures just decorations or what?
Re: Ongoing Historic Architectural Design On Opebi Link Bridge, Iya-Alaro, Lagos by DeLaRue: 8:01am On Oct 26
I see 'Yoruba drum' inspiration in the design. That's thoughtful of the designers. The last thing we needed was another overdone, culturally irrelevant european-style design.

Probably because most estates refuse to open their gates for road users. The road network in Lagos is one of the worst in the country, compared to most states where you don't have to drive on the express for so long before getting an alternative route to your destination.

Seriously!
Why has hate gone so deep in the heart of men?
Like I always say I'm not a fan of this present government, but when you see a good thing, you naturally applaud it.

Seeing people's comment up there is so sickening
Re: Ongoing Historic Architectural Design On Opebi Link Bridge, Iya-Alaro, Lagos by Kobicove(m): 8:17am On Oct 26
This bridge has been completed long ago, they're intentionally delaying the commissioning because they want to use it as a campaign project during the upcoming elections undecided

They're just for aesthetics and do not contribute in anyway to the structural integrity of the flyover grin
