My installation is not faulty,it is a regional issue from MTN directly.

Like the one(MTN FIBRE X NETWORK OUTAGE) that happened few days ago is Nationwide outage.

So is not installation issue, it's technical issue from MTN side.

You said you have had about 10 outages, that can last more than 3 hrs in the last 3 mths, and i was reacting to that
nothing more nothing less. Yes they had a regional issue, the same for Starlink, they have had that too.

Fine, MTN Fibre X might have more Internet speed and low latency than Starlink , but what's the use of an ISP that will have multiple outages in a month/year. You can't wake up and beat your chest of having network on a good day with MTN Fibre X

U can defend it anyhow you want, but Starlink still ranks high. What will it take for me to discard Starlink and switch to MTN and get MTN Fibre X router for free, then probably sell off my Starlink and still make some money. MTN Fibre X will make me develop BP as I have a close friend who uses and dude is always complaining.

It's like some folks do not understand the type of shege wey go make you ditch local ISPs and buy starlink. Starlink hardware alone costs 350k for the mini and 620k for the standard, with 57k monthly subscription. Non starlink users may see this as total waste of money. But the thing is, when it comes to internet accessibility, you can't put a price on stability and uptime (which starlink has).

Fibre X is cheaper sure but in this case, "cheaper" doesn't always means better.

At the end of the day, I'm glad we now have options to choose from. I've not paid a token for subscription this year as I've accumulated referrals all thanks to starlink.

No local ISPs offer referral programs.
No local ISPs customer support comes close to starlink
No local ISPs uptime comes close to starlink.
No local ISPs is as transparent as starlink
No local ISPs give peace of mind as starlink.

I'm not a starlink fanboy but the fact is the fact.

Good day, everyone. Please, I need help with my Starlink Gen 3/V4.

I have been using it since August 2024. Since last month, it only powered on after I adjusted the power cable for several minutes. Now, it has stopped working completely.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Was it the cable or the power supply, and how did you fix it?

Please, I need your advice. I am losing valuable working hours because of this. Thank you.

I am yet to experience this package booster,i am currently on 100mbps and my sub will expire in the next 3days,i hope i get this booster promo to 200mbps😄 when i renew.

But i want to believe that some of you have heavy things you do with Internet that makes you need all that speed

Makes sense for what you do with it.
For majority of us, that's over kill.
Even 50mbps is ok for many

You can search for them. There are various types and do same based on intended use.

They have ordered for me a brand new Standard 4X kit at no cost
