UNPAID STAFF SALARIES: NIGERIANS SHOULD REJECT ABUBAKAR AND ADC CANDIDATES

It has come to our attention that the National Working Committee of the African Democratic Congress, led by Senator David Mark as Chairman and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as Secretary, has refused and neglected to pay party staff for over a year.

We find it unconscionable that a political party that has made many grandiose promises to hoodwink Nigerians owes its workers for more than 12 months. Owing staff who come to work every day and who rely on the salaries for their daily sustenance is wicked and reprehensible.

With this development, Nigerians can now see the emptiness and insincerity of those parading themselves as 'new saviours'.

We have clearly stated that ADC leaders and their presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, do not mean well and can do nothing for our country. Their desperation for power is driven by personal aggrandisement and venomous ill will against President Bola Tinubu. A party that cannot pay its cleaners and workforce cannot be entrusted with our country's affairs.

Atiku Abubakar, the ADC's leader and Presidential candidate, has a reputation for owing his employees. While he regularly junkets to the UAE, staff at his Gotel Communication and other businesses also went months without pay and staged protests over unpaid salaries and other benefits.

The record of the ADC General Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, on paying workers' salaries and pensioners in Osun State, where he was a governor for 8 years, was abysmal. As governor, he mismanaged the state's finances to the point that he could not pay workers. His government thus introduced quarter-salary and, at times, half-salary payments. As for pensioners, he abandoned them for more than four years. Many died because they could not afford the basics of life.

We are therefore not surprised that ADC, harbouring birds of the same feather, cannot pay its workers' salaries.

We are sounding a warning to Nigerians and working people now: reject ADC. Reject Atiku Abubakar and reject all ADC candidates in the next general elections. They do not have the interest of our country and our people at heart. A party that aspires to govern Nigeria and which cannot be trusted with something as basic as the management of its own affairs and the welfare of its workforce should be rejected by Nigerians.

Did the staff complain to you? Nigerians are supporting ADC for free and are willing to work pro-bono. Why swallow panadol for another man's headache? Unlike the APC, the ADC are not doling out 2026 prados to youth coordinators from the proceeds of our subsidy savings.

🚨 NIGERIANS, PLEASE WAKE UP! 🌍🇳🇬

The world is facing growing climate risks, floods, extreme heat, wildfires and other disasters. In just the past 7 days, 2,378 earthquakes of all recorded magnitudes were reported worldwide, including 562 of magnitude 2.5 or higher.

The Bible gave a warning in Matthew 24: 16-19 👇

16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!

Please prioritise the children you already have, your family's wellbeing, and don't bring innocent children to suffer! It's game over; the world is no longer the same so your priorities must change too!! Bringing a child into the world is a serious responsibility. Think carefully about the future before deciding to have more children. 🙏

This is exactly what APC people are doing now. 😂

Very soon, APC people will send some Nigerians to beg Atiku to step down forgetting that he is in another party.

Instead of confronting and addressing the issues raised you are asking whether the staff complained. Do they have to complain before it is recognised that it is wicked, irresponsible and oppressive in the extreme for Abubakar Atiku not to pay staff salaries especially when he is clearly able to pay! The point is should we in all good consciousness vote for such an individual to govern Nigeria? The answer is an obvious "NO"!

See the propaganda APC is using to campaign. By this time in 2018, Buhari was showing Nigeria's his projects and good thing he did in every state of the Federation. He spent months commissioning several projects as part of his campaign for his reelection .

This time around, Tinubu's APC is shamelessly using propaganda to campaign. Since they do not have a single project or achieve to show Nigerians

I don't expect you to know this but a political party is a voluntary organisation. Where's the evidence that ADC owes anyone?

Even a look at the header of the thread shows that you're just flogging a dead horse. Daniel Bwala, Reno and Segun Sowunmi all worked as Atiku's pen-for-hire in the past, did he owe them a dime?

Oh, I see. Well, Dele Alake will have to provide the needed proof. Nonetheless is Atiku good to be President when he uses casual and contract workers in his private companies instead of fully employing them. He does to avoid paying them liveable wages and allowances. Only a taskmaster does that. Taskmaster is a demon hand that is who Abubakar Atiku is. Nigerians should not vote for him and his nominee Vice-Presidential candidate known as Rotimi Amaechi a frivolous character who is so flippant, insouciant and bereft of sound character to the point that he says publicly and on national television that the reason he could not buy drugs for his sick mother who subsequently died is because he lacked the resources to do so under a Tinubu administration he claims made the drugs expensive and beyond his reach!!! All in Nigeria who know their first names and know who Rotimi Amaechi is know that he is lying bare-faced!

Atiku is the largest employer of labour in Adamawa State after the state government. Forget about Atiku for a minute, have you seen the VAR video of Tinubu addressing the "mammoth crowd" in Kaduna?
