It is very unfortunate that Nairaland is now being used by politicians against opponent. Seun is this what you have reduced yourself to?
On what ground is that question that is schemed to favor the opposition is set as prerequisite to join this conversation and who approved a topic with such bias question question as criteria to participate in this discussion that concerns all Nigerians, of I remember very well, all parties have their campaign budget different from that of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
We have very few months to the election and the oppositions are acting like people that have been bewitched, unfortunately their supporters that should have wake them from their slumber appear to have worst affected by whatever is affecting their leaders, zero activities except jumping from one platform to another, campaign for APC while in their head they thought they are killing APC. We warned Nigerians in 2023 about this tinubu and his family and how they will destroy our country with there unquenchable thirst for more money and power.... Here it is playing out.
We will not give remi tinubu and her husband another 4yrs to destroy our country with wastefulness , greed and bad policies that only benefits them.
This family must be sent packing in 2027
They won’t be sent packing if Obi and his supporters naively help him win again like in 2023, with their tribalistic 100% SE votes indirectly.

Kwankwaso is the new Utomi.

aswani:
Prof Utomi, yes that President Tinubu's Pat Utomi, is in NDC with him still making sure that he is doing enough to ensure that Peter Obí is not a threat to President Tinubu.

To use a footballing parlance, he has close marked Peter Obí out of making important decisions that might threaten President Tinubu in the elections.

Peter Obi should have stayed in ADC and accepted the VP slot. He is now in a much smaller party and his Obidients are being taken for granted in NDC. Prof Utomi did his job well in 2023 and has now exceeded that already.

lexylaw40:
The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Oyo State, Tawfiq Akinwale, on Wednesday stated that the “President-elect” Bola Tinubu asked popular economist, Prof Pat Utomi to step down for Peter Obi in the buildup to the 2023 general elections.

Akinwale made this revelation while he appeared as a guest on a radio programme on 101.7 YES FM, Ibadan, Oyo State, while alleging that Obi received campaign funds from Utomi, whom he described as Tinubu's "son."

The LP aspirant, who spoke in Yoruba language, said "In the buildup to the 2023 elections, Obi who had purchased the nomination form of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), suddenly announced his exit from the party.

"Initially, Pat Utomi had secured the LP's presidential ticket, but when Peter Obi said he resigned from the PDP and joined the LP. Bola Tinubu, a master political strategist, quickly told Utomi, that everyone knows to be his son to step down for Obi.

"The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

"What Peter Obi didn't know is much more that what he knows, he started collecting campaign funds from Utomi, while Tinubu was giving the money to Utomi.

"This went on until Obi's presidential campaign got to a stage it went beyond target. Obi was used without him knowing," Akinwale said after announcing his departure from the party.

Obi defected to the LP after resigning his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also withdrawing from the presidential race under the party.

The former governor consequently joined the race for the party’s presidential ticket, while Professor Pat Utomi, in June 2022 stepped down for him to emerge as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, unopposed in Asaba, Delta State.

I no know why God made me a Nigerian o but I do know that the UK where I am at, that controversial SUV wahala would have been dragged on in the PMQs, the media and in the streets - such that Dayo would have been sacked and the first lady probed with the scrutiny of a sadistic auditor.

Just imagine Nick Ferrari or a James O' Brien getting a hang of this sort of news coming out from the stables of the wife of Andy Burnham?

Oh all hell will be let loose!

I hate Nigeria for her useless leaders and her equally useless followers.

When petrol was ₦97/₦185 per litre, una said the government was incompetent. Now petrol don reach ₦1,500 per litre, una don turn economists and motivational speakers. 😂

Suddenly, suffering don become sacrifice, hardship don become development, and empty pocket don become nation-building! 🤣

If dem sell you water for ₦5, you go call am good governance. If dem sell am for ₦500, you go say na because dem wan build a swimming pool for the nation! 😭😂

Una no just be mumu… una be MUMU with a PhD in defending nonsense! 🤣🤣

The presidency and most of the folks associated with him are all a proof to the above quote.

This what I have been saying. When Nigerians make noise on twitter as giant of Africa, I laugh. Nigeria is the most useless country on earth and biggest cowards. Infact, the rubbish we swallow, many country citizens cant swallow even half of it before acting. These politicians have seen us finish baba.

That is the hypocrisy of Nigerians for you, they make noise when it doesn't favour them, but keep quiet when it's going their way,if we couldn't question an employee of the state for doing such,is it the ruling party where different donations from different individuals and organisations who will be trying to identify themselves with the ruling party for one favour or the others are received we should be questioning

Till today nobody asked where did a particular presidential candidate who lost in 2023 election and said he spent almost a billion naira on post election litigations got the money from.

AA gave a particular lobbyist $1.2m on a wild goose chase in America, that money can lift hundreds of poor people in Adamawa state out of poverty.
