Credit Facility is a very volatile market in Nigeria. That's why banks have not bothered to offer Credit cards. And those that dare offer loans, will samma you with high interest rate to hopefully cover bad, unrecoverable debt or literally ask you to lay down your testes as collateral. |

It’s difficult for businesses without government direct or indirect support to thrive in this country. A country that is the poverty capital Of the world A country where 89% of its citizens can not save due to the high cost of living where expenditure outpace income. Those supporting APC, pls ask yourself when last you buy new boxers? All the monies goes into feeding and rent and transport |

It is well. These guys tried. The debt business in Nigeria is with force...it is an area I wouldn't go into. Well, this is why we always say that knowing AI isnt the main thing, but having a sound business mind. Even with it, one can still fail. I am happy these guys listed the lessons learned, and I expect them to make their exit strategy a path to something bigger. Not necessarily in Nigeria. These guys should move to the UK and try innovator founders' route. I believe they will do well there. Naija is a tough arena for innovative businesses. The likes of payments models are money in Naija, but tough to get licenses... na man know man. I really pray for them to find something else and be successful in it. Amen in Jesus' name. |
