Because you are playing a game where you know the rules are not equal. You know that when a man finds out his wife cheated, 99% of the time, that marriage is over. Dead! He will not keep you. He will not take you back the way you took him back. So who are you really punishing? Him or yourself?

You had the moral high ground. You had the sympathy. You had the power to decide whether to forgive, separate with dignity, or make him work to earn you back. But the moment you cheat back, you threw all that away. You gave him freedom. Now he is the victim. Now YOU are the one crying, begging, pleading, writing epistles, calling his family to beg him, because you thought he would react the way a woman reacts.

Men don't react like women. A woman can find out her husband cheated and still stay and fight for her home. A man finds out his wife cheated and in his head, you have disrespected his manhood in a way he can never forget. It is not about Africa. It is about men globally. Men get away with it. So you have two choices: Be RIGHT on the internet about double standards, or be WISE in real life about consequences.
