Guarantee of what exactly? That Ukraine will not be conquered by Russia? Ukraine is not a powerful country, and I get that their history with Russia is something still stuck in their throat. But the fact is, Ukraine is killing many of its own men whom it needs to build itself up with.😒😒

Again, Ukraine has not been able to fund its own war from the beginning. Taxpayers from across many countries have been burdened with funding this war, which has literally been turned into an expensive money laundering scheme by the same Ukrainians at this point. Why should Ukraine fight wars that it cannot afford to fight? Ukraine borrowed 90 billion pounds from the EU early in the year(a good portion of that likely went into the pockets of officials) while it sacrificed the lives of 10s of 1000s of the very workforce it would have needed to pay back that loan. Where is the sense in that? 😒😒

The report is in... 5 years on, and Ukraine is deep in debt and has lost over 150,000 military men who could have helped rebuild and dig it out of debt. This is in addition to losing control of 20% of its territory. Should he continue to borrow endlessly and throw more bodies at the problem? 🥱🥱

As of today, Ukraine joining NATO is off the table.
What Putin wants is to annex the whole southern part of Ukraine which would make Ukraine landlocked and thus dependent on Russia even to sell a pin.

War is bad and especially a war of attrition like this BUT the war was caused by Putin and not Zelensky.

Putin assumed that Zelensky as a Comedian would flee at the first sound of a bullet. Unfortunately for him, Zelensky proved to be an intelligent, brave and strong leader.
For Putin, it is now a war of Ego and nothing more

Would this war negatively affect Ukraine for a long time? YES!
But Russia also would be affected for a long time.
