When playing a Youtube video with a resolution as low as 480, the video still lags on my tv screen. It's slow, and I can't be bothered. The audio is at the same pace as what is showing on my laptop screen though..........

Oh well, this is their first try. I should hv gotten roku, heard it works better.

Roku is a much better, well grounded option, this is more or less a beta product, but it will evolve (at least netflix and youtube works at the moment). It's not bad actually (gotta give it a thumbs up on portability), but I'm pissed about the misleading adverts - It plugs into your HDTV HDMI but requires you to use an attached wire to connect to your USB port for power. If you don't have an available USB port then you'll have to connect to a power cord - not to mention I couldn't set it up from IOS. angry

And like my buddy would say - Grandma doesn't have a smart mobile device to use ChromeCast, so don't give it to her, but Roku or Apple TV instead. grin
