i have been to mexico on the tourist side and i didn't see any Nigerians there.
Mexico is a Spanish speaking country (strike one)
mexico is a rising economy and they like every other countries in the world are trying to fix their own people (strike two)
mexico is currently in the middle of a serious drug war that involves the govt the drug cartels and the innocent by standers (strike three)
mexicans are migrating to the u.s by the hundreds (probably) illegally on a daily basis and mexicans get deported by the hundreds on a daily basis
Mexico also has one a sect of the most dangerous gang in the world (ms-13) and they control all the illegal activities like crossing the border, hustling jobs etc

Don't get me wrong, this is not all what mexico is about because there are resort towns and big cities there also. The reason why i mentioned the above is because i have some thoughts about what your friend is thinking of doing and he will surly have to deal with the above.
if you are interested in getting their visa, the easiest thing you can do is google the mexican consulate in your area and they will write out all the requirements on how to get their visa

i wouldn't advice him to go to a country where he doesn't understand their language. The language barrier would be difficult. It would have been different if he were going to school because he would be able to interact with locals and students alike and make friends while learning the local language.

Most people don't realize that in south America, there is racism against people of African decent. Even the people of darker skin in their own country would tell you that they feel disenfranchised needles to say you an African who speaks no lick of Spanish and for that matter you are not there for vacation where they have to smile and serve you because they feel you have money.
It will be an up hill battle. i personally wouldn't do it.

again don't get me wrong, he might not even see any difficulties if he goes there but these are something to watch out for.

My friend just got his Mexican visa last week and he intend to pass through JFK airport, because his ticket he book shows that he must pass through US airport JFK New York. Can he pass the airport without transit US visa. pls ur contribution is highly needed here.

I tire but in a way I can't blame them. Based on what my eyes have seen since I got back to Nigeria a few months ago after over 13 and a half years away to take part in the NYSC scheme, I fear for the future of Nigeria. Irrespective of how intelligent, educated and professionally qualified one is, if you don't have connections in Nigeria, it will be hard making any headway here.

The electricity situation is still crappy, a lot of young Nigerian women are offering their bodies to men old enough to be their fathers so that they can get money to take care of themselves and probably their family members. Many young Nigerian men are into a lot of illegal activities all in a bid to make money after trying unsuccessfully to gain meaningful employment.

In fact, I am personally encouraging my cousins to leave Nigeria if the opportunity presents itself because most Nigerians are just living lives of hopelessness yet Nigerians on the average continue to breed kids like rabbits knowing fully well that there is nothing in place for these kids 22 or 23 years down the line.

Even the current leaders of Nigeria do not believe in Nigeria. Its every man for himself because honestly, Nigerians are not united and even treat foreigners living in Nigeria much better than they treat fellow Nigerians. Nigeria is in a sad state. It is no wonder that some Nigerians are willing to go just about anywhere to escape the country they were born in.

Why would anyone want to go to Mexico to hustle when Mexicans are risking their lives day and night to cross the border to USA? Mexico is a developing country just like Nigeria and they speak Spanish. Does your brother speak Spanish fluently?

I don't know why some Nigerians love jumping from frying pan to fire. If you want to hustle, why would you go to a country whose citizens are equally battling with a lot of poverty? Is that not silly? Tomorrow now, your brother will get stuck there, become desperate, begin to engage in illegal activities, get caught, get jailed and help in damaging Nigeria's image even further.

It is better to find a job overseas, get a work permit and migrate to the country of your choice LEGALLY. Another option is to fall in love and marry someone from another country and get your papers to live in another country that way.

If your brother insists on hustling, then he should move to another African country so that if things don't work out, he can easily pack his bags and come back home rather than remaining stranded in a foreign country. This is my sincere advice to you.

This same thing applies to Kenya. Visited after many years away and seriously the place is HORRIBLE. But locals seem to take it in stried.
