I usually make arrangements during the parapet stage, to insert iron rods inside the parapet, passing it below the beam. These rods are then used at the roofing stage to tie the roofing wood, the wall plates to the roof beams.

I cant help but marvel at ur tenacity despite all d annoying comments. Its a good quality and dats what we need in responsible professionals. Your work is very good and I'm learning so much from all ur postings. I sincerely feel sorry about the crazy rain and ur workers but well............nothing good ever comes easy. Did you notice how we lightly placed the wood on the parapet, the weight of the roof is on the tie beams which is on the roof beams, not on the parapet (for the attention of the gentleman that called me this afternoon)
