MTN BIS is working on Android phones, just subscribe and change your APN, that's all, if it doesn't work for you, use that TCP VPN method. I'm currently using it now on my tab and phone, So yes, it works.
Just hope it doesn't get seen and blocked by the MTN agent on this forum.
