Open your device's Settings.

on most android devices, this can be done by going to your phone's launcher application and clicking on the settings application icon.

you should see a screen similar to this:

Click on "Apps"

you should see a screen similar to the image below

scroll to the "Nairaland Forum" and click on it.
when the page opens, click on the button labelled "Clear data".

Clicking the button will show you a prompt. Click "Ok".

You can now go to your Launcher and launch the Nairaland Forum app to re-register your app with Nairaland so as to continue receiving frontpage topic update notification.


but if you deem the above too complex for your taste, you can go to the Nairaland app's page through your device's play store app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nairaland

click uninstall and wait for the app to uninstall and then click install again. this should also reset the app.
Launch the app and click "register" to initiate registration.
