To Have Stable Electricity, Vote Out PDP-FASHOLA by 1United1: 5:54pm On Jul 11, 2014
State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has said the only way the country can have stable electricity is to vote out the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from power in next year’s general election.
Fashola, who gave the counsel while marking his 2,600 days in office at an elaborate ceremony held at the Blue Roof of the Lagos Television premises, said electricity crisis in the country is caused by lack of ideas and insincerity of purpose on the part of Federal Government.
He said,” Yes I agree with you that it is possible to generate electricity and to make sure that everybody in this country has electricity, we have to do the right thing. But you know what, the only way that you and I will have electricity in this country will be to vote out the PDP.
” In 16 years hundreds of billions of naira have been spent and we cannot switch on electricity and in seven years we have created four plants.  It shows that something is missing. So unless you vote for All Progressive Congress it is going to be difficult to have electricity.
“They started from vision 2020-20 and I told you then that they were having a nightmare, that there was no vision.
“They moved to seven point agenda and now they are transforming.”

The science of power generation(electricity) is so simple that it is in your secondary school physics textbook .
Just like the illegal refineries,it is so simple yet so hard for the idiotz who have been ruling this country.
You are not inventing the wheels, you are only copying what has been invented.
But this is asking too much for a country that is unable to even build her own roads and bridges.
Yet we have useless citizens parading themselves has engineers and scientist

Fresh air where? The same Nigeria we're both in? Wake up brother and stop being ignorant. I don't side any party, but you associating fresh air with Goodluck Jonathan is the highest level of ignorance.

It's high time we open our eyes and stop deceiving ourselves. There is no fresh air and there'll be no fresh air with GEJ as president even if he rules till 2050.

Shine your eyes and be tuthful to yourself Sir.

I was in Akwa - Ibom for sometime last month. The fact that you have light doesn't tell the same for everybody. If you're truthful to yourself you'll confirm that many other places in Akwa Ibom don't have light.

I don't Support any party. Don't quote me with cases about Lagos like I'm supporting fashola or APC. I just pointed out that the fact that there's light in his area doesn't mean there's constant power supply in Akwa Ibom state.

Your ignorance is so stinking. If some Lagos is not experiencing stable power supply whose fault is that? Isn't that a failure on the GEJ led Federal government which the constitution clearly states is in charge of electricity? By the way how MW are the using in Akwa Ibom? Ota industrial estate of Ogun state alone can dwarf the whole electricity consumption of Akwa Ibom.

Funny enough I stayed with my sister who lives in Eket also. The light was being regulated through out. My street's turn today the other street's turn tomorrow. Then that day there'll be no light throughout in my street. Is that a definiton of constant electricity? NO. Unfortunately I didn't stay there too long to get familiar with addresses I would've posted it here. There's absolutely no need for me to lie about it. Nobody's paying me to do so Chief.

Typical APC!
All they do is attack anything PDP without profering any solution themselves.
Why not tell us in no uncertain terms how exactly APC intends to provide Nigerians with constant power?
Up till today no one knows what APC's manifesto clearly is or how they intend to solve the problems they keep pointing out.
How can Nigerians hold them responsible when they haven't even made any promises?
APC is just like a guy stylishly leading a girl along enjoying everything she has to offer only to dump her at the dying minute with the excuse that he never promised her marriage.

Very lame thing for legal luminary like Fashola to say, they think we are bush men to be enticed with electricity. Fashola should have finish his Badagry express way before talking about power supported. This man is a joke.
