Thank you so much bro, i got the car for 1.3M full option, i did not fix a thing everything comes intact, infact i consider myself lucky to get it cos it's still in top shape at 105k Mile but after running a VIN check i discover the ODO meter has been tampered, the original mileage was 240k Mile but that didnt worry me abit cos it was own by 1 user with accident free report, the car is still in good shape, i am happy with it

Congrats and i am happy for you.. Just remember that The good Vehicles in USA Give good service over 400,000 miles with regular maintenance and that will keep them in smooth function.. It may require more work to go beyond 400,000 ,but its a Toyota that won the world record of longest lived functioning car.. Over 1million miles after two rebuilds.. The Taxi and shuttle bus grade vehicles in Places i experienced said they buy new ones and run their vehicles commercially all day every day until 400,000 miles and then sell the vehicles in good condition and my friend always bought the shuttle vans after 400,000 miles and they ran smooth for him for many years.. He just did the work and service to keep the car alive....

I once asked my neigbor who was a long time proffesional volks wagon mechanic, what is the real difference between a V4 and V6 gas useage...
He told me he has seen all the modern designs from the 1990's forward always show the same gas mileage because the computer controls the mix of fuel and air and spark.. The V4 has to work harder to carry the same load as the V6 and the V6 will not work as hard and use less gas per cylinder..
The real difference only shows when you have the car under full load or if you drive the car agressively and always as fast as possible.. I assume you dont make fast accelerations from stop and go situations...

I like to drive Oooo.. I tame myself by staying away from powerful cars because i will tap it deep and feel the petrol pains in my wallet...

OP, you come across as a young person.

The Avalon, IMHO, is more for the older crowd. I'm pretty certain that you can find a much newer car that represents your metrosexual status.

Syenite: Except if u are hell bent on buying an avalon, the same amount u will get dat 2001/2002 avalon can fetch u a 2004-06 Camry Or a 2004/05 Accord and am sure u know dat d newer d better.

Newer the better in what sense ? I don't think an xle 05 Camry or exl 05 accord matches the xls Avalon. Even the base xl sef

chibabe3: I would rather advise you to go for a corolla if you are not so bouyant as the fuel consumption is on the high side. The car is actually good but the joy of having one is the ability refuel the ride without much complaint.

It's people like you that want even a v12 car to consume just as much fuel as an i4 car would consume. How is the fuel consumption on the high side ? Does it consume a significantly higher amount of fuel than a v6 sedan should consume ?

I honestly fail to understand people with all the constant talk of fuel consumption.
I feel such people might not move forward in life lol...always talking about fuel consumption!

Avalon is not a bad ride at all, its strong and durable, highway fuel consumption is okay, though slightly different from 4cylinder engines. The avalon is a lovely car. Poster, be rest assures you'd enjoy your new ride, in every sense. My mum had one just similar to this for over 7 years. When she sold it, it was just at 131k mileage. It never gave her any issues , she just got it serviced and well maintained regularly. Drove it around a bit and I did enjoy it quite immensely, for a Toyota.

Thats a lie, i was worried before i bought this car when people was lamenting about fuel, so far its been the same with my previous camry 4plug engine, the fuel consumption is the same, i think the main reason for this is The 4plug engine has to work harder to carry the same load as the V6 and the V6 will not work as hard and use less gas per cylinder..
