The River basin covers 5 states-Lagos,Ogun, Oyo, Oshun and Ondo.
All the River basins in Nigeria have farm lands for lease at the same price

The Project Managers of the Basins has turned it to a personal business. They extort farmers to the last penny. Security pay, Operator pay etc
Even worst when you are using the irrigation system, they overcharge for water without pumping the water.
please take your time in investigating the Basins through the rural farmers within the environment before committing a dime

whao! that's why I advised not to waste your time. A reputable farmer here just gave his take from experience. Renting or leasing through private company is your surest bet.

Jethro2 have just said the fact, I know some farmers who complain the same thing, I was at sepeteri last year when they did flag off of dry season irrigation of the ogun osun river basin, sincerely one of my uncle have 5 ha from the land, and I hard him complaining that the water supply was not prompt. Later I heard that the pumping machine broke down for some time, so pls open your eye very well b4 u invest on what u will regret.

Sorry, but I'm based in ibadan. I don't know anything about farmland in ogun state.
