Mr. Seun, I'm placing this in the politics section with the hope that you get a chance to read it.

I have noticed that you setup login notification emails to be sent out upon login to nairaland. While I can see your reasoning behind this action, I think it's a bit of overkill to have my mail box getting filled up with nairaland login notifications every single time one logs in the site.

I don't really think that level of notification is warranted on a forum as we users don't even keep secure information on the site. Users who log in and out multiple times per day would be getting their mails unnecessarily filled up, almost like spam.

Maybe you can compile all login information, and send it at the end of the day in a nicely formatted table detailing the login time and amount of time spent online. Just something to think about.

Yeah, I agree with the op ... its can be really annoying at times especially when you ate expecting a mail. I would prefer for it to be sent monthly summarized in a single mail instead of having tons of mails

My complaint is I don't get PM notification on my email sometimes. And if I do get,it comes like in an hour time. This has made it difficult for me to reply mails unless I send a PM back to the person who sent me a mail.

Yea, but one can still minimize how often u loggout, by having upto ten different browsers in your system/phone & assigning each moniker to one

Why log out at all? All I do is close the nl app.

Because of the notification, I no longer log out of Nairaland both on my phones and computers. So that I don't get that email

The best option is, if you are using your phone and personal computer/laptop save your password there and don't log out
