The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have rushed to Newark Liberty International Airport after a passenger believed to be from Liberia showed symptoms of Ebola.

According to ABC, the man traveling with his daughter on a United Airlines flight from Brussels was reported vomiting as they landed in New Jersey. They were both removed from the plane by a CDC crew in full Hazmat attire. The remaining passengers have been allowed to leave
after being quarantined on the Boeing 777 at Gate B54 for nearly two hours after landing at about noon, according to FlightAware's activity log.

Reports claim the passenger was found to be noncontagious after initial examinations. The man is believed to have flown from Liberia via Brussels, Belgium - the same route taken by Thomas Eric Duncan, the first person to be diagnosed with Ebola in the United States. Duncan is now being treated for the disease in Dallas, Texas, and 10 people linked to him have been classed as 'high risk'.

What is wrong with this Liberians, i think the while country should be quarantine ASAP. The international community should step in and help them stop the spread of this Ebola virus, else they will contaminate the world.

The US should just place a travel ban on flights from West Africa since Liberians would not stop exporting Ebola. The ones that can't afford a flight ticket would most likely find their way again to other west African Ebola free countries

Watched Hard Talk on BBC yesterday and the guest was the guy that discovered Ebola Virus Disease. From the things he said, I don't think there is any risk of any developed country winding up like Liberia. Regardless, it is totally imperative that a watchful eye be kept of travellers from this part of the world and other places where there's been reported cases of the disease. Life is just too precious to be handled with any measure of levity.

The narrow minded and myopic American who opined that flights originating from West Africa should be stopped from touching down on American soil didn't envisage there are different door ways to America I suppose.

Well, he better start advocating for cure b4 the country is ravaged with ebola.
