I’m confused! Are you a breeder or a farmer?
This is a $1m question? – Do you want to call
a friend? Or do you want to chose 50/50 ? or
should we let our audience decide?
The first statement you hear “I have a bitch on
heat” – the next question is “I need male with
box head …. or how much for stud services”?
Does that make you a breeder because you
have mated two dogs and 2 months later you
have puppies?
Let me put it another way I have a sow (female
pig) on heat then I go down to the next farm
and get a pig - almost 4 months later I get
some piglets, so does that make me a breeder
or a farmer?
In all seriousness we have very few breeders
and we use this word loosely and then we lose
credibility.
Just today I mentioned to someone I wasn’t a
breeder yet as we only have 1st generation of
our foundational dogs.

i dont really get...
lemme get this straight. are you saying breeders shouldnt breed their dogs?
there are breeders, bybs(back yard breeders) and dog farmers.
Breeders breed for excellence, improving the breed standard.
bybs breed for quick cash. most dog owners automatically get converted to bybs.
Dog farmers...an establishment that breeds puppies for sale, typically on an intensive basis and in conditions regarded as inhumane. they have nearly all kinds of breeds in their farm. and always have puppies.
