2.The comedian - He is more or less a stand-up comedian. Always lively, students look forward to his laugher-filled lectures but once taken for granted, he can be shocking. He is usually stingy with marks/grades.

3.The Student lecturers - Also known as Assistant lecturers. They usually start as errand boys to some top lecturers in the department, they mark exam scripts, invigilate during tests & exams and later graduate to helping the lecturers with some of their lectures. They are usually hyperactive, aggressive and proud which usually results into a clash with the students.

4.The Crazy Lecturer - He rarely smiles, does things in an unusual manner including ways of speaking(with big grammar like Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon), a funny dress sense(with long bling-bling chains like Ayo Oritsejafor). He is always REAL and serious, doesn't care what his students feels or think about him, highly unpredictable and lectures for 3/4hrs until the students complains.

5.The Fatherly Lecturer - He is always matured, homely, approachable, and friendly. He takes his time to extensively teach his students in such a way that once you fail his course, you know that you truly deserve to fail. He is students' favourite.

6.The Lazy Lecturer - He comes to class twice in a semester(One, for course introduction & later, for revision, a week to Exams). He doesn't lecture nor teach, he only comes to read out loud while the students listen. He doesn't care if you understand or not, and 15 or 20mins, he is done for the day's lecture.

7.The 'Runs' lecturer - He comes to class, gives shabby lectures and drop his mobile digits or his errand boy's digits(The coded students knows what to do). #5k for 'C', #8k for 'B' and #10k for 'A' depending on the importance or Unit of the course.

8.The Departmental dog - Woman wrapper. He takes advantage of any vulnerable female student, it doesn't matter how young she is, the sex addict just want to get laid at the slightest opportunity. Hide your babe, sister, daughter from him.

9.The story teller - 90% of his lecture is the story about his days in the University and how serious/dedicated they were those days + how he still consult his 1973 lecture notebook. He talks about how bad the Gov't and the school management is, especially if he is an ardent ASUU member. He usually receive at least 10 phone calls within a lecture.

10a.The Religion fanatic (Daddy G.O) - This type of lecturer comes to class to chip in the Gospel within his lecture, inviting the entire class to his church & mid week programmes. He is always gentle & Godly.

10b.The Religion fanatic (Mallam) - He comes to class and usually separates the female students from the male students before his lecture begins. He looks gentle and you don't need to be told before you know he is a muslim. Take him for granted and you will pay dearly for it.

You forgot to add one : the PHILOSOPHER: he doesn't believe there is a God. Has no religion. He tells students numerous stories about life events all in an attempt to convince them of the futility in serving God. He often times looks dishelved

We also have some OLODO lecturers, when teaching in class,they tend to loose their or stare at the board 4 several minutes b4 dy continue. This are the kind of lecturers students correct in class,atimes they fail common multiplication. These lecturers are fond of cramming or nt preparing b4 class or does nt even knw d topic(wich is rare though)



we also have lecturers who teach themselves, they speak wt low voice and are fond of dictating equations in mathematics... In classes lyk dz,nt only bckbenchers play fifa 14,d fst few rows are also involved

During constitutional Law classes....d man wasn't that boring though,but the course was..

How about those that would teach u "a" but set "z" in their exams?

The absentee lecturer: He is never available for his lectures, he is either doing one consulting for one agency or another or he is out of the country attending international conferences. They call him, Prof, Prof all over the play and he carries himself with air of scholarship yet student rarely feels his impact

I was enjoying ur post until it got to the part when u ridiculed Mr ayo oritsejafor. I see nothing wrong with his dress sense, after all looking good is a good business.

In my school we have many of 6 lazy lecturers a topic can take 5 months til exam time rush...fire bridgier. approach and 3 type comedian to make you laugh to d extent of beatng table and at the end give you lower grade E ... Jesus.

Number 5 reminds me of pastor Enoch. The man is so gentle and fatherly that his office is always fill with students. Atimes, we do drop our phones with him to help us charge and he courteously oblige.
One funny thing is that other lecturers hate him due to his closeness with us and they always try to plan against him. He had to do his PH.D twice simply because he wasn't in the right clique(the ones that catch fun and hate students).
Fortunately for him, he had to leave UNAD and pick up an appointment with FUOYE wher he later became the HOD.

I forgot to add, he's the most brilliant amidst the other lecturers and he always tell and show the application of his course to real existence.

Eh we av 2 lecturers teaching BUS, one speaks like a woman 2 an extent dat even dos sitin infront hardly hear wat he is sayin even with de help of a micro phone but he can manipulate questions dat if u failed 2 read de questions upto 10 times, ur answers wud b out of point. We call him baby voice.

De 2nd is called Ukwu or pampers bc he has a vry big buttocks and can spend de whole 2hrs in class stammering. 4 him 2 read a sentence, he wud repeat it more dan 5 times. We enjoy his class though with laughter but he is fund of givin improptu test and de highest grade we mak is 'B'

Lol... in absu, faculty of business administration .. department of banking and finance. we have virtually all the above lecturer s.

1. Oko ( the sadist ) : although he is from marketing dept, but his sadistic tendencies are infamous around the whole school. this man failed his own wife! and the woman had to leave the school. he told us during one of his lectures that no one can ever get A in his course and that not all of us would make it in life.. we all responded with a resounding BACK TO SENDER that shook the school foundations. his exam questions are to be answered serially! and the questions dey carry pikins... 1 a,b,c,d. 2 a,b,c,d etc. in some extreme cases you get 1 a(I) (ii) (III) (iv ) (v) etc. But as the sweet Lord will have it, I scaled through with C.

2. okanta ( comedian ) : this man is just so funny, he forgets himself while lecturing.

3. Oyinbo (student lecturer ) the Op has already almost everything about this guy except that despite everything, I still enjoy his lectures an he can be so kind at times.

4. rev. okpara ( the crazy mathematician ) : he is a Reverend father. he stands by his words. a model lecturer. but the crazy thing about him is that maths don chop half of his brain. best mathematician in campus who sometimes starts talking to himself ( or so it appears ) during lectures.

5. H.O.D HRH eze ogbulu (the fatherly lecturer ) he is the HOD, best lecturer in banking an every student's father. he hardly fails students unless that student has sworn with the oracle of their village never to pass in his life. A very handsome man.

6. Mr Paul ndubisi (the lazy man ) : the chairman of the lazy lecturers association wey no sabi maths. this man no dey ever come lecture.

7. see number 6 (runs man) : and when he somehow manage to show for class, na to drop some encrypted lines that can only be understood by his runs babes.

8. see number 6,7 and 1 : these men like woman pass their salary.. and that's saying something. if you are a girl and they lock their target on you, ha..han.. you gats try open leg o! or carry any lecturer wey get mouth go his office and negotiate. or else you go fail pass buhari for polls.

I just remembered 1 of our 6 chem 157 lecturers-pregnant Mrs Odozi.i call her green snake under green grass-not 2 much in a bad way tho.
she took us kinetic theory(a seamingly simple course).
She looked very stressed out each time she came 2 lecture us(due 2 her condition).we always pitied her.she didn't even finish it.
All my tot was,I go pass dis woman course like mad .
I no get 1 of her questons at all.

I don't think anyone here have experienced a sadist lecturer like my former lecturer in Operation research and statistics. A man who graduated with 3rd class did lots of pgs before going for masters. He believes no one should graduate with 2'1 or even score a B in his course.
This is a man who awarded the wife who was a part-time student in his dept then, her deserving F score in his score. It became the talk of the university till now
