secondly, when you get it,you can put it on to test it and do some little settings. but make sure you charge it to 100% and leave it for an extra hour or two on the charger if possible while the green light stays on. switch it off while charging too. this is what i did with mine and some of my friends that did the same have found that the battery is actually not as bad as painted. Avoid using when charging. After your 1st full charge, make sure you drain the battery to less than 10% before you plug it again. Try as much as possible not to charge at random times and little intervals when you start using it too. this prolongs the battery life.

Get a pouch for it once it is available and ensure you handle it with utmost care to avoid stories.

thanks damcqute, i ordered white cos as at 30th sept, that was the only available colour, i hope i keep to the charging and usage part, will try sha cos am kinda a gadget freak o, so i should go to any network office and have that sim cut out for me, glo is close to my office, hope say dem go gree cut mtn sim for me, pls kindly alert me when the pouch is available, what little settings are u referring to, plus the issue about the flash light entering the pix when you snap with it at night, can it be tweaked?

to be honest I don't charge phones before using em but to be on a safer side I'd advice you charge it to 100 % before using it.
Goto WiFi >>Advance >> unchecked "Scanning always Available" saves battery life abundantly. Enjoy your phone when it arrives....

when i did my battery review of the phone and supported the device, i was insulted numerous times and someone even said he wish he could see me to kill me... all because i shared my experience. i was called a marketer, bla bla. but i am yet to reply with a single curse word because i know it is not worth it. i am glad so many people are beginning to say good things about this device again. I feel for pheelz who experienced the cracked glass at the back of the phone. Like i have always said, no device is perfect. infact, i have experienced more joy from more affordable devices compared to the ones i almost emptied my account to get. And like everything in technology, LUCK IS INVOLVED!!!

@MizTyna what about the pouch nah?.....pouch should be top priority for this phone nah...I dont know why its taking this long...you told us the pouch was available in microstation only for them to say they didnt have it...pls tell us what is happening and let them know the pouch is a necessity not a luxury...because if e fall break because pouch nor quick come what is now the joy in getting this device?....

according to reports, the OTA update solves the camera problems. i'l try to confirm that. as for the little settings, adjustment of date and time basically while setting up the phone. nothing much.
