Why are some ignoramuses suggesting that this judgment has implications for Nyako's case? There is ZERO connection between both of them. In this case, the court simply ruled that Ngilari's purported resignation was null and void. . .which was expected because the so-called resignation did not follow the lawful procedure. Accordingly, it follows that, in the eyes of the law, he was the deputy governor at the time of Nyako's LAWFUL removal, and since the constitution expressly stipulates that the deputy governor should take over whenever a governor is removed or incapacitated for whatever reason, it follows that Ngilari should assume power following Nyako's impeachment.

In Nyako's case, he was duly impeached by an overwhelming majority of State House of Assemby based on the report of a duly constituted panel. Nyako is gone for good, whether you Janjaweedian elements like it or not.
