Like seriously this woman inspired me to start blogging and now i have my website, I always wanted to be like her. for me, I think she should not worry. she should buy a domain, even if its her full name. when she does, she should let us know, and we'll be ready to support her.

You can learn to be like her but learn not to plagiarise, its a serious offence.

Oga zubby aptly said........How are you boss?

ZUBY77:
Everybody shouting hater hater hater, who is the hater here?

Truth is Linda is a greedy bastarrd.
I remember asking her to buy the domain name lindaIkeji.com but you will be surprised to hear what she told me.

Nairaland has been using its own server since day one. And so is GlobalRuns.com.
Do you know the advantage, you can always have your back up ready to be reinstalled at anytime. You can change host company.

If she was smart, she would have bought this domain name then. The owner said it was just 200k in naira.
Now the price has shot up to 5 million.

Why should we pity her?
She has made some money.

Next time, learn when to answer your own name.

She was making millions off Google servers and the worst of it all, she was buying exotic cars and posting it to the same Google search.
What kind of cars do you think the Google developers driver?

She can Register www.lib.com.ng. It is still free.

It shows that this lady has been hanging out with the wrong People. You mean nobody told her to get her own domain name and Dedicated Server all these year?

I wish her well Though!

I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I like her blog. The girl thrives on lies, lies and more lies that ruins other celebs' life to sustain her own life (based on threads posted on NL on her behalf).

However, my feelings are irrelevant when compared to a huge issue like plagiarism. For the past few years, I've been saying that Nigerian bloggers/journalism needs to stop stealing pictures from online database. This dude is using Linda as a scapegoat because she's one of Nigeria's biggest blogger.

If she bounces back or not is irrelevant to me because I don't visit her blog, but I hope that she finds another source of income. Nigerian poverty rate is too damn high.

I just hope he doesn't attack Bella Naija.... that one, I care about.

When a child grows in the midst of hostile relatives, hatred becomes an addiction. In Nigeria, people see it easier to chase their purported "rival" to extinction than to give their own dreams life through a religious chase. The Pull him/her down (Ph.D) syndrome is common among Nigerians. I am no fan of Linda but this is too wrong. I wish her a bigger return

The truth is that if Google had not acted fast, there would be countless lawsuits against them. She was living off the sweat of others. Doing this is not the issue but refusing to give credit is where the problem lies.

I am amazed that people are so daft to believe that it because she got her self a range that some random dude wants to take her down. This kind of reasoning is very myopic. Yes the range and other stuff she has been flaunting put her in the spot light but the bitter truth is that she plagiarizes other people's work, makes a ton of cash of it and does not give them credit for it which is wrong ethically but then, hey this is Nigeria where anything goes!

I find it absurd that she didn't seem it fit to register a domain name as her business and list of clients was expanding. One of the first and cardinal rules of business is to always reinvest your profit back into the business especially when the business is at an expansion stage. Why not take a cue from Bella Naija and our very own Seun (apologies Seun for putting you in the ranks of LIB, you are definitely in a league of your own). More so, she has this knack for attacking people on social media and backed up by her sisters and other hangers on. Even when it became glaring that she was violating international copyright infringement laws, she was still attacking the random dude on social media instead of trying to put her house in order. So I am not amazed at all the hate and animosity towards her. I think this goes beyond the range, it is simply an accumulation of several other acts or doings on her part

I hope she is able to learning enduring lessons from this whole episode and do what is right business wise. All the best and God bless Nigeria!

bros dem don buy all the domain name visit... lindaikeji.com, lindaikeji.net, lindaikeji.so on dem don buy am finish oooo
people wicked oooo grin grin

When she was getting famous, she ought to know better to pack her domain, even if she's not ready to build it yet, that's the price she's paying now. if she'll get it now, it'll even be far more expensive because the guys knows she's desperate and that she has money, so unfortunate.

I guess the only options she has is to cough out the money or alternatively get Creative and create something close to her name.

It's sad. But the hacker should know better than trying to bring her down by spamming her site. She's a brand already. All it takes is now acquiring a new domain and secure hosting (which she should have done a long time ago) and posting several controversial blogs (which she's very good at) to take her back to her rightful spot #1.

Just like Linda Ikeji is ignorant about copyright laws so are many on here. Many lecturers including profs have lost their jobs because of it. Presently, at the University of Ilorin, we postgraduate students now have our thesis subjected to anti-plagiarism software. Once you fail it, you'd lose your studentship and MAY escape prison. It's very serious offence. It's so serious that if your thesis doesn't make up to 50% of your own writings, you're gone. So people, forget 'enemies' of progress. What is wrong is wrong. She made a mistake.
I hope she realizes. Every mistake is an opportunity to rise again. All the best as she finds her way.
she won't realise her mistake, not this early anyway.
She prefare to be bitchin*g around.

I believe if would swallow her range rover and apologise things could get a little better.

But there is little chance all this will happen. You know she is a woman, and a rich one.

This is partly the outcome of unnecessary boasting. She should have borrowed a leaf from bellanaija who keeps a reasonably low profile (and in addition got her own domain name).
I'm not a fan of LI, but hope she learns the right lessons from this.

She is in serious trouble.
Companies advertising on her blog will sue the pants off her.
From breach of contract to bad publicity.
Women!!
Too impulsive, less calculative.

true that.

or she can date/marry seun and he'll help her move it here.

deal- seun gets (to ride) one of her cars, she gets space on his site, win win situation. They both get to shag each other if they're so inclined. If not, they remain compatible.
. This is wicked!
