I don't think linda ikeji understands the ramifications of what has happened. Let me break it down for her and her LIBS to advise her well.

1. She operates a gossip site so she is exposed to a lot of libelous suits from disgruntled celebs. Because she hosts her website on blogger, any law suit must also attach blogger as a defendant for encouraging it. Blogger has tried to distance it's self from any potential copyright or intellectual property issues and I won't be surprised that they played an active role in reporting her to google.

2. Linda Ikeji has collected Thousands or Millions of Naira from Artists, celebs, musicians, companies and people to advertise their products or services on her blog. In exchange for the money, she is to guarantee them continuous exposure of their ads. Non compliance of that agreement could lead to a series of law suits to recover money or for specific performance which she cannot provide now because the lindaikeji.com site has been deleted.

This is not something she should take with kids glove because a lot of people are out for blood and money spent for show off could be aggressively recouped through serious litigations. If she doubts it, she should look at the history of napster or Bohemea. Why she couldn't open her own domain name and design her own website after blogging for almost 10 years is baffling.

Tumblr did this because over the past two years, the company had received five complaints from copyright holders who said Bohemea had used photographs without permission.

Bohemea, who asked me to use only her screen name, says she would have been happy to just take down the five images for which Tumblr received a complaint ... but instead, Tumblr deleted her entire account. Worse, Bohemea claims other Tumblr bloggers have been similarly wiped out.

Bohemea’s blog wasn’t aimed at a business audience. Her blogs were about fashion, art, and photography, and some of her content was of the "NSFW" (not safe for work) variety.

All her articles, pics, info, adverts etc could be wiped out completely just because she refused to spend $20 to get her own domain name.

I told her this from the beginning even before one guy registered the domain for www.lindaikeji.com and asked her for N80, 000.
She refused to pay for the acquisition. I said she should register .com.ng and she still refused.

Google deleted my Guaranty Success blog even with custom domain. Then later restored it after long complaint. But I did not need it again.

For a blog making over N36 million annually, she should have secured it on a custom domain and SSL.

THE ALLEGATIONS where gettin quite many my people,most of u will observe that most of her works are ;copy,edit, and paste !and it was gettin too many critics.lets not get sentimental wit this,i actually do not hate her but originality is a key element lacking in most her works.

Consumers have no choice but to patronize you.
Your revenues grow along with public estimation of your brand.
More people automatically wants to buy shares if your company is publicly traded.

I know a lot of people are going to hate me for this but I always knew amebo fame won't last for long. I used to read her blog till I found out she is too much of a "busy body". She has made so many mistakes in the past regarding celebrities including Olamide etc. She practices amebo journalism which is the worst kind of journalism. She should have been unbiased with her reports instead of depending on unknown sources for news. Well am sure its mostly women who will miss her blog cause women just love gossip. She shouldn't have bought the range but instead invested it, am not hatting on her wealth but let's face it, no one likes a snitch(At least real people). LIFE GOES ON. Am sure she will survive(Maybe she will even drop an album)...

Linda ikeji is no different from those "money miss road" people that will rent a house with so much money for years without considering building their own house. (building an empire on a account is no different)

she should have bought a domain since.. even if its a .UK OR .NG OR DOT WHATEVER ... as far as i'm concerned, the best thing that happened to her is her .mobi site.

as a comment earlier said.. she's careless. if she an ounce of business development sense she should have considered the future before stuff like this happens.

This is just a lesson to linda to treat her "business" more seriously and always develop tactical strategies to "secure" her empire.

i wish her the best anyways.

. Agreed but she should be more professional in her posts instead of "them say" that's not journalism and it can ruin lots of people's image, it just so unfortunate our law courts are over worked cause I bet you if she was doing all this in USA she wouldn't be successful at all.
