Today is world sight day, A day set aside by United Nations, World health organisation etc to remind us that, 80% of blindness can be prevented and/or avoided. I created a topic to remind nigerians the need to check thier eyes regularly but unfortunately, No body brought it on front page.

painfully, everyday i see nigerians with end stage glaucomas, diabetic/hypertensive retinopathies, macular degenerations etc these are irreversible causes blindness that can only be managed if discovered early.

shamefully more than 60% of visual disabilities is in the developing world.......yet we can't educate ourselves, how can we develop?
