Lord, in tough times, let Jnrbayano stay motivated and clam, let him look at how far he has come rather than how far he still have to go. Let Jnrbayano continue counting his blessings and not what he has been missing. May everyday bring new changes for him to grow, new beautiful things for him to see, new plans for him to do and new goals for him to pursue, and when fears knocks on ur door send faith to answer. God bless u real good e-brother

Do you mind enlightening me a little on your position?
I didnt mean to start writing much, but I believe that there are instances where one of "a married couple" might decide to opt out on his/her own without following the church's process of divorce, probably by serving her divorce paper from the court. Now in this case, I feel the church should give the other partner the grace to recieve communion and probably to remarry since the 1st partner is gone without following the church process and is not ready/willing to follow the process.

Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. Ps 126:6

Today we are praying for Woky

We pray that the good Lord who knows us and what is best for us should look kindly on you, and let all our prayers for you today find favour in the sight of God through Christ our Lord.

Good morning brethren and do have a fulfilled day ahead smiley

With regards to your example, the church does not refuse the other party communion, if not remarried, and in a state of grace. We are talking about those who remarried outside the church, coming to receive communion.

Now what if after 15yrs they both come together and say "we want to respect our "marriage" and be together, we regret our second "union", and we want to make things right, will the church say "no, go to your second marriages", or will the church support another divorce?

@bolded... You mean after signing the divorce paper... I have seen cases esp in the rural area where one of the party was denied communion because the other partner asked for divorce without following the church's due process... This is the type of exception that am talking about...

That means you have a job which is not paying well.

Sometimes, it's not about how much we earn but how well we spend. Probably you may need to plan your expenses a bit better. It would be great for you to live life while you look forward to having that 'dream job'.

If you don't mind, send your résumé to strikystriktlymi@yahoo.com. Let's see if I can help you tweak it a bit, if it is not already robust. If still you don't mind, I can also send you a template to help you manage the 'little finances' you may have.

Keep your chin up.
