In wwe, b4 you are allowed to fight one must undergo a development training in Ohio where your character would be developed, eg the undertaker is a staunch religious man but in wrestling his character portrays an evil person so also relates to many wrestlers.

The moves in the ring are real in that they take many years of practice before it can be done safely.

The outcome is scripted in that it follows a predetermined storyline..

Wrestling is like football where rules are followed.

Whatever styles of wrestling you have been watching, go and practice it with someone, then you can conclude it's real or not
