Babatunde Micheal Is Not A Nigerian. by Chanchit(op): 9:58am On Oct 10, 2014
I went to visit a friend in Aguda(Ijesha) yesterday, we had lots of things to talk about, we had to talk about this Super Eagles at a point, that was when he told me Babatunde Micheal's parent are from Togo, that Babatunde use to live in their street before turning pro'. He had to call two people to confirm what he just said, then he showed me where he(Babatunde) used to live.
But, hey.! He's Nigerian by birth.
Even if he's not, we need a libral society, though its almost impossible, cos if Babatunde Micheal has told us his name is Koku, Mensah or Afouvi, he would never be invited, despite being a Nigerian by birth.
But Nigerians plays for other countries with their Nigerian names, we hold vital positions in other countries. Take it or leave it, we are not only tribalistic in nature, we are also racists.

by fifa rules, he is qualify to play for Nigeria since he was born and raise in Nigeria. He can also play for Togo if he chooses to. I think he should play for Nigeria because he is Nigeria by birth and have lived most of his life in Nigeria. I also have some friends whoes parents are Ghana but they were born and raise in Nigeria. They consider theirselves Nigerian and Ghanaian. They used Nigeria citizenship while applying for university of PH
