Management /Proprietress of St. Louis Nursery/Primary School Ondo Road
Akure, Ondo State terminated the appointment of thirty teachers for/after seeking permission to take part in the recent Ondo State Teaching Service Commission (ONDOTESCOM) recruitment for 2014 which took place on the 30th of September 2014.
According to a reliable source ,the affected teachers sort for permission from the Reverend Sister who was the head teacher of the school before proceeding to write the TESCOM Examination , The teachers got the Text messages inviting them for the examination at different times (in Batches) hence they sort permission from the head teacher (in batches) , when the head teacher noticed that a substantial number of Teachers were being invited, she called an emergency meeting informing the other teachers that they do not need to inform her as she has noticed that they are also likely to be invited and that they "may" all go and write the examination, This prompted the other teachers to go for the TESCOM examination without any premonition of what was about to befall them. The Teachers were all sacked on the 10th of october about 30 of them. now how can this be fair or seen to be fair when you never warned them not to go for the examination but misdirected them as to your intentions pretending to give them the permission to go and write the examination only to give then sack letters afterwards?? this coming from a CHRISTIAN MISSIONARY SCHOOL CALLS FOR CONCERN !! i was told that the members and staff of another school in the state were expressly warned not to go for the examination of face sack and many teachers of Prinston college Akure did not write the examination because they were not given permission. the case is different here. why pretend to give permission but in BAD FAITH??

1. I would like to hear from both parties before jumping into conclusion.
2. What are the Terms and Conditions that these teachers agreed to before taking up employment with the missionary school ?
3. Akinov blog is not a verified source of news in Nigeria, any body can come up with a link and a blog as source. Infact, many unnecessary blogs started by Nigerians do exist.

1. You sure can not be asking Akinov for the terms and Conditions of service as we all know the positions when it comes to employment in Nigeria it depends on the circumstance under which this present event happened it makes that immaterial.
2. Akinov s' blog is not owned by a faceless blogger but a person who can be contacted and the face/picture and contact email is right there on the blog. he is a Qualified legal Practitioner/lawyer licensed to practice law in Nigeria, a life coach and a blogger and a Master Chess player and state coach as a matter of fact) who lives in Akure the town where the School is located and he has made efforts to make the school tell their side of the story and he is still expecting that.
3. The School is yet to give their own account as at this time.
