Dont want to really go into politics but truth is only thing that has really changed in kd in d last 15yrs is kawo bridge and rapid urbanisation in barnawa/kd south. Kaduna shud hv been far ahead with purposeful leadership. The city is still not looking bad, just stagnant.

i am in the country now on vacation and just pass through constitution road to my house, so do not tell me about now and then. i have childhood friends all over and have been paying visit. that place is a dream killer man.. move out of there fast

Only the fools will believe that the Northern state are being neglected by the Federal Government. Though, Kudos to the state governors for not being like other Zones Governors. They make judicious use of the Federal Allocation and their IGR. One Nigeria?

This OP is a huge joke...i was born and bred in Kaduna and school at FUT Minna. guy i live all my life in the north and thank God i left there just some few years back. Dont decieve people with random pic of a minute beautiful places of the WHOLE north and posting trash. Imagine how it will look like if some one post pics of beautiful pics of the south...when i say south i hope you know all the southern states like LAGOS, RIVERS, DELTA, AKWA IBOM, ENUGU, just to mention a few and you are post Kaduna that i am right now. A place fulll of angwas and talakawas..keep deceiving those that have not been here before. Abeg south is far more better o

Guy are you for real? Are you comparing Kaduna and Enugu in infrastructural developments? Then you have never lived in Kaduna. Kaduna is alot better than Enugu in any sense: Population, Industries, Schools, Planning, Cosmopolitan nature, Roads, Infrastructural development, size, just name it.

I wonder when Nigerians will start to realise that development is not in pictures or fancy buildings or mosques, or beautiful houses. The Human development index for almost all the states in the north is terrible! If anything, this thread has exposed the ignorance of the political leadership in the north.
Building fancy houses and mosques when maternal mortality is the highest in Nigeria, illiteracy is the highest, poverty is the highest and unemployment is also the highest in Nigeria. Plus they're still supposed to be battling polio and drought in the north. No pictures of schools or water schemes or equipped hospitals. Its a shame!

[size=18pt]These are just ordinary road networks and buildings and nothing extraordinary about them.
As we all know, that there is no single spectacular building in the entire landscape of Nigeria.
There is nothing like Empire State Building in NYC, Eiffel Tower in Paris or Bao'an International Airport in China.

It is really pathetic to always see people coming on Nairaland to post photographs of plain landscapes of ordinary streets, roads and buildings that any dummy can build. With all the billions of dollars from our crude oil, our government cannot even be imaginative and innovative to build world class towns and cities, except for Eko Atlantic project that will be the first world class city in Nigeria.

Even the NITEL Building, Union Bank Headquarters, Cocoa House and Independence House and Great Nigeria House are still not spectacular by international standards.

Please, we are now in the 21st century and not 20th century.

Now compare Jigawa State to Abia, Ebonyi or Anambra. Jigawa is twice better than those states combined despite getting smaller share of the national cake.
How about the economy of Jigawa state? How comfortable are the people? Better than Anambrarians? I think not.
