Even though i've heard this question before,i haven't thought about this until recently.Where do deleted files go?

Some go to heaven while others go to hell. Lol. On a serious note, A file is not really deleted. Its only replaced. When you delete a file in computer or Phone, Its marked for replacement. A good computer engineer can recover a deleted file if it has not be replaced yet.

If you delete a file from your computer. The file will still be saved in your hard drive. until it is replaced But will not show in your computer. The 2MB song will still be saved in your hard disk but will not be available for you to play in your computer and You can still recover that song but if you download or transfer another 2 MB song. The new 2MB song will replaced the old 2MB song in your hard drive then you cant recover the old 2mb song anymore. I hope you understand now.

Why not true? Deleted files can be recovered if not yet replaced in your hard drive.

I have done this before. recovered about %65 of files from a formatted hard drive.

I know for certain that on Android phones.. The undeleter apps does help me to restore deleted files..

Tested and trusted... Only if the exact space hasn't been occupied by a new file already when SD card gets full..

Am yet to see an answer to the question, now those files that are being replaced afta deleting where do the go to?

The files usually go to an invisible Dust Bin..

It bugs me too. The mobile own precisely.
